I recently bought a Ipod touch from a buddy for 100 bucks. (It's 16gb and apparently it's the 2nd one) (it works fine, no scratches on touchscreen, battery is fine, and it came with a cord)

Now since I don't have a warranty, I was wondering what I could do if something goes wrong, like does apple allow you to send it in without one and just pay to have issues fix, can I take it to a apple store or something?

Also I've seen people talk about jail breaking them (To change the black background and for games and other apps). Is it illegal or s/t or does it just really piss off apple so if it does break they won't fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

There is little need to jailbrake an iPod Touch, unless you want to use Apps that are not on the App store, or want to tinker around with some UI Hacks.

I may look cute, I may not look tough,
But my friends all know, I can play rough.

Hpmh, those prices aren't as bad as I thought they'd be.

I only came about thinking of Jb, because the black screen is kinda boring, and jb is the only way to change it.

Thanks for the help. heart
