Installing PS3 controller to PC

I was playing this game on Steam, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and they highly recommended that I use a controller. I soon realized, after launching the game, why they recommended it. Anyway, I was going to buy a wired 360 controller, but my friend said he has a ps3 controller that works just fine, that you can 'force it to be like 360 controller'.

I tried installing, but it's not working. The stupid numbers are blinking red and I don't know what that means. It says I installed the controller to the computer. Tried following some youtube videos but none of them were working.

Anyone have a legit video for this? Or know how to do it and can take me step by step?

The most reliable way is some software that is just an adware platform. The name escapes me. PS3 controller on PC is just overall shitty.

On Mac OS it works amazingly well, surprisingly.

I think mid-game counts as random.

In any case, the non-working issue survived several reinstalls, so I gave up and went back to an Xbox controller.

MotionJoy isn't an option anymore. You'll have to use SCP.

search scarlet productions SCP. you might find instructions on it. Its worked for me really well, even the Bluetooth feature if you've got Bluetooth....

Some basic instructions to follow first though...

Make sure ps3 controller drivers are installed
then install xbox 360 controller drivers for pc
run scp server,

DS3 tool is a piece of garbage and allows malware into your system. big nono.
