Ive been trying to make an image map
but the search for a host is a ******** wild goose chase
I need a host that allows PHP and BMP
Been searching last night and this morning and no luck.
God I hate search engines. All of them.


For the love of god,
does anyone know a file/web hosting site
where I can upload php AND bmp files?

I can think of several dozen hosts off the top of my head, but none of them free. In fact, there are many.

I use Dreamhost personally.

Why BMP?
BMP is a totally failure format for web images.
Save it as a JPG or PNG and it'll have a much lower size and be way more web-friendly.

I'm using this method for my image map and 8-bit BMPs are required for the php script thing.

Ahhh, so the BMP is only used server-side. Makes sense now.

What do you mean by fail site? Last I checked (like a year or two ago), most hosts let you host php files AND bmp files. Possibly a script error? I clicked on the link you listed for the method and the script plus the example image are broken links.
