Put a video clip on Window's Movie maker?
It's something I could never figure out .-.
What do you mean by 'moving video clip? Do you mean a normal video clip?

Whoops.
I did mean that x.x
When I made movies all I had to do was drag the movie file to the media slot for the movie maker's movie. Was pretty straightforward for me.
Most likely its in the wrong format. I usually try to put MPEG-4 in there but it does not support that so most likely that is your problem and you will need to convert it. Converting it to avi or wmv will work. I had to do this everytime I wanted to edit one of the videos I put on my iPod

You do mean the video is coming off your ipod in Mp4 format and you want to edit it, right?

NOT that you're using windows movie maker to save them for use on the ipod, right?

Your half right.
If your wishing to import videos on WMM and still be able to edit them, then WMV format is what your looking for. AVI files only let you import, and or watch them on Media Player.
To change the formating, I suggest downloading ( I hate to say it ) "aTube Catcher." It lets you convert URL files to several different formats, including the ones I've said above.

You're half-right, too. X3

AVI is not one video type. It's a container format, the actual video format inside it can vary widely, so some may work while others may not.

It IS the best idea to convert them to a more standard format, though.
