how do i clear out the address bar history?

I know how to clear out the history of the websites I have been too in favortie places thing but in the address bar how do I clare out all those sites? On some computers I have been on a few times I always have to retype the site I want to go to instead of clicking the drop down arrow and selecting it. So is there a way for me to clear out all of the sites I have been to in the address bar (you know the bar where you type the sites URL)

Ah, that's IE7 (or 8, but 8 acts a lot like 7).

Like it says, you will need to press the ALT key to make the File/Edit and such menus at the top visible.

in firefox 3 simply press
ctrl+shift+del

a popup appears, select the wanted settings and here you go

in IE its tools->delete browser history

You go to the tools button and you click on the internet opitions and it should be in there. Also u can clearthe history to will u r in there!!!!! mrgreen
