So here is the situation, I am currently running a MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozer 2gb OC Gaming Edition. My questions is should I upgrade to a 970 or just get a Second 760 for an SLI setup and before you say a lot of games don't support SLI the link below is a complete list of SLI supported games provided by Nvidia . I have a 750 watt EVGA Supernova G2 PSU. I am just looking for opinions as to what you would do ?

SLI Supported Games list.
IMO a single good GPU is always better than 2 GPUs in SLI or CF.

The 970 is still a decent card, even after the whole 3.5 GB fiasco.

Yeah, I had my eye on the G1 gaming edition GTX 970, they do use less power as well.

I vote for hocking the 760 and buying the 970.

Here are benchmarks showing the performance differences between a single 760 and a 970 in case you were wondering what kind of speedup you'd see over the 760:

It looks like it is anywhere from a 50%-100% speedup depending on the application.

Oh, thank you, I am aware of the specs just getting opinions. Do you think the G1 gaming edition is worth paying the extra for ?

I wouldn't think so. It is $40 more than the cheapest GTX 970 on Newegg and at core clock the G1 only gets 1-6 higher FPS if this review is correct: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-970-g1-gaming-review,26.html

It might be worthwhile if you overclock it and can accommodate the increased temperatures that would cause. Going by that review overclocking the G1 can give up to a 20% increase in FPS over the stock GTX 970 while only costing ~12% more.

I was thinking the same thing, I have a CM Storm trooper all my intake and exhaust fans are AF series fans the only ones that are not are the SP120L's on my rad. I was thinking about the MSI GTX 970.
