I'm hoping they make an droid version soon. I kinda feel left out especially since in the iphone app you can get some neat items.

I'm the one who made that short-cut app. I've been working on a better version with support for the forums off and on (mostly off) but other things in my life take priority so I don't have much time for it.

If you know Java, you're welcome to join the project and contribute toward an improve app. If you don't know Java, it's a good project to learn on.

I rather have the one made by Gaia. I can connect to the website via phone just fine just want to get in on the app exclusive items.

Many of us have been petitioning Gaia about this for years, but just like the broken BBCode parser the developers acknowledge it and then quickly lose interest.

I've made the case myself to them that they need to make an Android app and I've even shared with them my apps market statistics to prove that there is demand for it, but they still haven't budged. We started the project to make our own because it seems clear that Gaia doesn't consider it a priority.
