BSPlayer has AdWare in the free versions, so you most likely wanna avoid it.

Haven't heard enough positive things about Avast to try it out, but I prefer AntiVir to AVG as it takes up less system resources on my machine. You can't go wrong with either though.

A lot of that list isn't "Free Ware" it's freeware. There's a hueg like xbox difference betweeen the two. The capital "F" indicates open source. Which a large amount of those programs aren't.

They're not attempting to make an open source list, just free programs. It would've been specified.

They're not attempting to make an open source list, just free programs. It would've been specified.

I know that. It is capitalized though. Some could come in thinking open source, and then get hit by iTunes, and old links that don't work. And the fact that flashget isn't on the download manager list makes me dislike this list just a bit more.
