Okay basically my 8g flash drive that I use on a regular basis and just this morning is suddenly telling me that it needs to be formatted. When I clicked format it said it would delete everything on it. I tried it on multiple computers and it does this everytime.

Things on this drive are incredibly important to me personally and I was stupid to not copy these to other safe places but I if anyone can help I would glady pay you something if your information helps or if you were nice enough to help an item.

Has the flash drive been damaged by any chance? For say, Dropped in water?

No I make sure all my flash drives are protected in anyway. I safely remove it before pulling it out. I check it for corruption or viruses and keep it in a special water proof case.

I am a very paranoid person...

Either the files are corrupted and are in need of formatting.

I'm not really sure about the problem. I have had this problem before, Just bought a new flash drive.

Nty, Knowledge is power. Keep the gift.
I can tell you how to repair it, but you'll loose the data on the drive. is that ok?
