So i have a plain wireless mouse that you need to be plugged into the computer Va the UBS port ( cordless ) It was fine for a long long time.

But now my computer is acting in strange ways.

Like the first time I turned it on every thing ran great. Until I get to my password ( I have it pass word to get on the computer Period. for every thing ) So it takes me to the blue screen ( not that bright blue screen. But my aqua blue back ground )

And nothing shows up ! ( none of the apps nothing ! ) So i have to turn it off either by hitting the Alt Ctrl and delete button ( until your pass word or user name pops up ) And asks if you want to restart the computer.. So i did that a few times.

Now I am having trouble with my mouse. Is this connected to this problem ? As well as my computer keeps on freezing or something . and just won't respond ( not even for any thing else for that mater )

Any advice on what may have caused this ? Do i need to take it to the computer shop ? ( to fix it ? ) I want to know what the problem might be. But I don't want to go in blind either.

Have you updated to Windows 8.1?

There were several compatibility issues fixed with 8.1...

You appear to have several issues, that won't be easy to address in this format.

Start by either ensuring you are updated to 8.1. If not, do the update.

If you are, or when you get it done...we'll address the mouse issue.

i finally got back on after it took like hours to update >: growls at the computer " And so far it hasn't done any thing ( though the Aboie flash might need some updating as well ) But so far so good DX

Yeah, 8.1 is a very large update.

If everything appears to be working...that was likely your issue.

I would just go through and update all your drivers just to be certain. Many manufacturers released new drivers for 8.1 (still no driver for my fingerprint scanner though...grr...)

ouch well at less my problem is kind of fixed i hope DX i am not good at looking at the hardrives or any thing/

It's not a big deal really. It's a part on my 4 year old laptop that isn't being maintained by the manufacturer anymore. It's the only real downside to Windows 8 for me.
