I'm using opendns to filter out adult content and general time wasters on my laptop. In doing this, for some reason my laptop will not connect to the internet in some places when I have opendns active (is that the word?). Gmail and wireless printing will not work either when i have dns operating. I've tried putting gmail on the "do not block this website" list but it still doesnt work.

My second question is that while I don't need general timewasters blocked indefinitely, I would very much like to have adult content blocked permanently. I only know how to block adult content and time wasters at the same time so it can be a potential problem if i take dns down.

I do have two adult websites I know for sure are being accessed that I would like to block. If you know of something that can block more than these two, let me know how smile

Remember, I do not know a lot about filters or computers in general, so I would really appreciate your patience and laymans terms smile
