I get this error 403 on my computer what do i do and is there anyone who is tech savvy at this sort of thing? Because I do not have a clue as what I should do.please help me. oh my computer is a windows xp if that helps anyone.

Still, what site? We cannot check to see if we have the same problem to help diagnose your issue if you just say "an art fan site."

Most of the time the average user gets a 403 error, it's because you're being blocked from visiting the site. There are a lot of places in the chain between you and the site where this could be happening and it's difficult to know which is applicable in your situation. It may be that someone has installed a child-safe filter on your computer, your network admins (if applicable) may have implemented content filtering, your ISP could have decided to block it, your national government could have blocked it (depends on the country and the site's content), the site itself my have blocked people from your country from accessing it. What you can do about it (and whether you should do anything about it at all) depends on who is blocking you and why.

Most likely just some .htaccess restriction. Could be made due to changes being made on page or just other type of restriction. Hard to tell, but you won't be able to fix it since this actually comes from server. The only possibility could be trying to clean browser cache if for some reasons it actually saved the .htaccess rules.

We don't care what you're interests are. When you come in here with a question or problem that is our concern. The only time you're interests come into play are in the event they could be the cause of the problem...even then we won't attack you for them.

As for the 403 error, it happens to me as well. It's not just you and there could be any number of reasons for it happening.

You can attempt to access the website through a proxy server. Simply Google proxy servers and connect to one. This does have some potential to compromise your system, however. Be cautious who you trust on the internet and don't download any files or accept any random connections, chat sessions or stray links.
