Mozilla has some download managers for fire fox like Download them All.

@the20: thanks for the offer. i think for now im going to go the batch file + commandline downloader route.

@EquinoxeIV: that will not work due to the way fanfiction is set up. the urls are so javascript heavy that httrack will not work. there are no real urls for it to follow.

@Arrtos Tarne:i have downthemall. and while it works great in most cases it does not work here cause of the fact that i need to tell it to save it in a different folder for each story.


EDIT: by the way i realized i was being quite stupid in trying to download all the harry potter fanfictions. i really dont care for 99% of the short stories because those are the ones most likely to be written by somebody who really needs to go back and redo 5th grade english a couple times. so i edited the list and cut it down to about 1/10th the size by ommiting everything under 10k words.

so while my need is still the same it is slightly smaller.
