Computer...lagging???

Okay, this is really ******** pissing me off. About every 10 seconds, my computer will freeze for 3 seconds. Even as I type, I will type out a word and it won't appear for 3 seconds. If I'm in Gaia Towns, I will click on a place to walk, it will freeze for those 3 seconds, and I'll appear to where I clicked. Or if I watch a video, every 10 ******** seconds it will freeze. It has nothing to do with flash or anything, as I just said it happens to everything on my computer even while I type this, or if I'm scrolling down forums it won't scroll down. I have to wait til the 3 second freeze is done to scroll down. But this happens CONSTANTLY. It just started happening today and it's driving me INSANE. It's so [********] annoying. What the hell is going on?

Trust me. I am perfectly fine. I have THREE different virus protection softwares on my computer. It's not a virus, I know for a fact. I ran a virus search on all three at once. Nothing came up. I'm good.

Have you restarted?
Check task manager for any programs that are using a lot of your CPU when if locks up.

There's more than viruses to worry about.

You need to check for other malware. It's sounds like you possibly have a rootkit in place that is whoring out your computer. check your band width usage when your not doing anything via Task Manager ->Networking. If it spikes durring the 3sec stall.... something's most likely going outbound. You can also go in Task Manager ->Processes then in the Listview click on the CPU header twice. This will put the programs using the most of the processor to the top... Write down that names of these programs (the ones above 30%). Knowing those might help to solve the issues.

Also.... On your screen shot you kicked out your computer name..... That just makes it even easier to hack your system.... Just say'en.
