Welcome to Gaia! ::

SO. On my tumblr, I have a description at the top that I have
a fixed position for. The problem is, when I scroll and it's in a fixed
position, all the posts scroll BEHIND it and you can see all the posts
through my description. Does anyone know how to fix or code this?!
It would be a ton of help! <3 It's for my portfolio so I NEED this =D

I hope I am describing this so it makes sense...basically, I want to start
the scrolling of posts from a certain position on the page...haaaalppp.

Why...don't you just change the "fixed-position" code to "scroll?"

I've change the top margin for the scrolling, but once I scroll
it moves behind my description! If I put it in a "fixed position" it
doesn't move at all :c I'm kind of a n00b, haha

Without seeing the page in question, it's impossible to determine what might be wrong.

It sounds like you just need to set a background color on the description's parent element, but we can't know for sure without seeing the HTML and the CSS you've already applied.

Please ALWAYS accompany questions like this with a complete, working sample in a Github Gist or LINK TO a page that demonstrates the problem. Otherwise your question is more likely to be ignored or simply passed over.
