Recording with audacity... i go into recording devices on windows, then show disabled devices. But nothing new appears. I need to enable WaveOut or something like that, but it doesnt appear (which it usually does)

note: ive tried reinstalling my sound driver again, but when i did it said installation failed.

how can i get this right?
