Hello, Gaians! Wasn't September a spectacular month? We had so many exciting activities, events, and items that it's hard to keep track of them all! With October well underway, we think it's time we reflect back on September and what made it so incredibly fun and special. Let's take a look at some of last month's fabulous highlights:
It seems like some of our shopkeepers were quite busy last month. Louie landed in a little financial trouble, courtesy of some unpaid backtaxes owed on H&R Wesley, and the shop was temporarily shut down as Gaians banded together to Save Our Louie, donating over 95 trillion gold in order to rescue our favorite destitute vampire from economic ruin! Thanks to your tireless efforts H&R Wesley was saved, and Louie was able to pay back everything he owed -- minus a little interest that he's apparently still working through. H&R Wesley is now reopened and received a fabulous update to celebrate, featuring fun scholarly fashions for all!
But Louie wasn't the only shopkeeper who needed help from Gaians at large. The enigmatic Monsieur Loyal discovered another dimensional portal, this time named the Torii Gateway. Loyal called on Gaians everywhere to help him unseal this new gate, asking for donations to help pay for the expensive reagents required for the spell to be cast. Once again, you amazing Gaians did not disappoint! You managed to donate over 191 trillion gold to the cause, unlocking fabulous new prizes along the way. Needless to say the Torii Gateway was brimming with amazing rewards, and it made a more than welcome addition to Loyal's shelves. As you all know, we are now performing some important maintenance on zOMG! and its servers. We have shut the game down in order to repair a critical issue that could potentially affect every Gaians playing the game. The fix will require extensive back-end changes to the game and its servers. zOMG! may be down for several weeks or more as we address the issue, but don't worry: zOMG! will be up and running as soon as it's patched up! We'll provide further updates as we have them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding!
Have you guys grabbed your Daily Chance today? Don't forget that the Daily Chance is a great way to collect gold, GoFusion Charms, and even other items! How does NPC underwear keep ending up in there? It's a great mystery, but you could certainly start a collection if you're diligent about grabbing your Daily Chance every day!
September was an exciting month to be a Paw, with adorable items like [Animal] Bottled Faerie, [Animal] Agape's Cut and [Animal] Hime Bangs Haircut scissors, and even more amazing sets making their debut in La Victoire! Paws also received a spellbinding gold shop update, with brand new fantasy-inspired fashions added to our shops. We even held another Best in Show Contest, where people could submit their finest animal avatars to compete to see who was the cutest. We're still in the process of judging all your amazing entries, but we wish you all good luck -- and we can't wait to show off our winners! Be sure to stay tuned for even more love for Paws as October continues.
Of course, Paws weren't the only ones to receive some incredible updates. Our human denizens were graced with amazing Limited Quantity items like Nom Nom Rawr, Hooded Fighter, and Autumn Days. But that's not all! We also had a whole bunch of exciting Chance Items appear in the shop. Were you able to confront the dastardly villain of the Enigma Institute? Or were you too busy enjoying a tasty cup of coffee at Neko Nook while munching on a pasty from Just Desserts? Things even got a little spooky with CIs like Selenic Eclipse, Hysteria's Break, and Ominous Harvest appearing in La Victoire. We have tons of exciting CIs planned for October, so be sure to grab a October 2014 Chance Pass if you want the best way to enjoy them all!
Speaking of spooky, it seems like some weird events are starting to occur around Gaia. Ivan claims that he's being kept awake by mysterious noises that sound distinctly like armies gathering together. Now he's attempting to travel back in time to find some peace and quiet -- but who knows what else he might find in the past? Assuming he even makes it, of course. Ivan is counting on your contributions to help build his time machine, so if you're feeling generous why not donate a few coins towards helping find a solution for Ivan's Timely Predicament? We're not entirely sure what's going on, but we do know that October is always the month where chaos tends to be unleashed on all of Gaia, especially with all the angels and demons...
