After extensive development and brutal battlefield simulations, we are pleased to announce that Gaia IM is out and ready to use! Aside from letting you instant message any of your Gaia friends from anywhere on the site, Gaia IM boasts these fancy benefits:

  • Your Gaia friends are already on your buddy list.

  • You can earn up to 200 Gold a day or 6000 a month chatting.

  • You can remove/block anybody you don't want to talk to.

  • You can teleport to where your friends are on the site, making it easier to meet up in towns, games, cinemas, threads, and more.

  • You don't have to download or install anything. Gaia IM is built right into the site.

Oh, and if you don't want to be pestered, you can always not sign in or set your Gaia IM status to away. You can launch Gaia IM any time by clicking the "Sign In to Gaia IM" link near the top of every Gaia page.
