Uh oh! The Aquarium feature is currently down for maintenance. A huge number of people were jumping on it all at once, which caused some slowdown on the rest of the site. We're working hard on fixing the stability issues and getting it back up and running as soon as possible.
Don't worry-- your fish will be OK during the downtime! When Aquarium is back up and running, we'll extend the lifespan of your fish a little to make up for the lost time, so they won't have aged a day.
Surprise! You now have an aquarium and some fish! With Gaia Aquarium you can take care of a delicate ecosystem and fill it with colorful fish, plants, and loads of nifty decorations.
You can always find your tank and fishy friends under your My Gaia page, or by clicking below.
This is just the first phase of Gaia Aquarium. Tons of new features are soon to rise from the depths, giving you more ways to interact with your tank.
An Ocean of Options
- You get your own aquarium, two goldfish, one arrow fish, and the Overseer, a treasure-granting clam.
Control tank options such as lighting, temperature, and even music to make your fish happy (or miserable).
Just like in real life, all fish inevitably die. Keep them alive longer by taking good care of them, making sure they are well fed, and giving them plenty of attention.
The wise and mighty Overseer will offer you sweet rewards each day. The better you treat your fish, the better the reward.
Show off your aquarium in your profile and on the forums (including the new Aquarium Forum).
- Get fish and supplies from Phin Phang, the newest store on Gaia. Phin Phang is a Gaia Cash store, so if you're strictly a Gold person, you can still get fresh fish and other goodies in the Marketplace or the Daily Chance.
The Daily Chance now includes a number of aquarium prizes not available in stores, with more being added in the coming days and weeks. We're also going to add aquarium prizes to games, giving you even more ways to win free stuff for your tank. Note: There's a glitch with the Daily Chance where you might get an error message when you win an aquarium item, but don't worry, the item should be in your inventory. We're working on fixing that and apologize for any confusion.
