Welcome to Gaia! ::

be careful which crowd you say 'megatokyo is a crowdpleaser" to, keynes.

i love zebra girl, which currently has guest strips up (so forgive it that), wapsi square, scary-go-round, which has technically ended, but not really, as the creator is continuing in that universe, just with a new set of characters.

and of course, oglaf, which i cannot link here, as it is NSFW.
oh my hells, baron cat-brush. i just read and finished rice-boy.

it's fabulous. heart
Make sure to read Dahm's current comic, Order of Tales, as well. It is also basically fantastic.
keynesblade
Dominic Deegan and Megatokyo, but those go without saying.

These are both terrible. Would it hurt these "artists" to actually learn to draw before making a comic? Christ. I was hoping MT would be better by now but no, it's still s**t.

Anyway, I forgot to mention Dead Winter which I recently started reading again and love and also Nedroid because heart BEARTATO heart
Words alone cannot fully express my desire for a big plushie Beartato pillow.

What are you talking about? It couldn't possibly be-- *projectile vomits*

You like Dominic Deegan? Oh my God, please delete all webcomics off of your favorites and cleanse your palate (this goes for CAD fans as well.) Dominic Deegan is so goddamn awful on such a huge scale that it would take a college dissertation to describe just how terrible it is. And Megatokyo is awful, as well.

As for my favorite webcomics, I also like Goodbye Chains, Paradox is also a favorite (Beware: has homosexuality and nudity), as well as Khaos.

I have a lot more. I read too many webcomics.

Anders Loves Maria
Girly
No Rest For The Wicked
Menage a 3
Penny and Aggie
Red String

In the past I also read RPG World, but it's lack of ending still makes me sad. I used to read 8-Bit Theater also.

And I've found myself unfortunately gawking at the webcomic train wreck that is Dominic Deegan for the last year.

I'm probably forgetting a few that I'm not ashamed to read though...
I gotta admit, the more Dominic Deegan-bashing I see, the more I respect the artist for still plugging away and telling the story, undeterred despite all the flames. (It doesn't hurt that he's really nice in person.) Were I in that position, I'd have given up long ago.
Well, he's making a living wage out of drawing comics that can't take more than an hour to produce, who WOULD give that up?

Were I in that position, I probably wouldn't have concocted an epic storyline for the express purpose of excusing and trivialising the rape of a 14-year-old girl.

Of course, the idea of suddenly becoming fatter, uglier, stupider and also responsible for an anime webcomic about orcs and wizards? It sends a horrifying chill down my spine. I shall be having nightmares tonight.
Did anyone say anything about Kate Beaton yet? She writes the best comics about history and they are my favourite.

I think someone mentioned this guy's comics already but they are adorable and my favourite as well. See also a collaborative comic he made with one of his friends, possibly one of my favourite bits of comic on the internet.

XKCD also makes me laugh, but I don't read it regularly for some reason.

Penny Arcade is one of my favorites. If I could be that funny (and that successful!) I'd be very happy.

I haven't read Questionable Content in a while, but that's a favorite, for sure.

I catch up on PA once every few weeks. This one is absolutely perfect. rofl

I haven't read all of them, though Ever After was really good.
