Oh it was. I can see the embodiment of death playing into the storyline easily.

There's not going to be a Deadpool movie though. And if no one comes to their senses in the studios and it does somehow see the light of day and doesn't go straight to video, it'll completely bomb.

No one outside of comic book readers have clue who the character is. Those readers who are fans are going to be hyper critical of this movie, if it happens. Also likely that it will suffer "Scott Pilgrim syndrome" in that this is a movie in which the main fan base is likely to download the movie rather than go to an actual theater.
