Well I'm sure everyone has their own way
I just want to see whether people in the comic book discussion thread have a particular opinion on this matter

I have the option to buy a box to store my comics and to buy comic book wallets (plastic things which store comics....)

So comic book discussion thread
Do you store your comics in pristine condition in plastic wallets
Or like me
In the carrier bags you receive them in?

We have an actual comic book box that we bought from the comic book shop. xD My husband is a graphic designer, so he's drawn characters from DC & Marvel all over it. I love it.
I keep mine in shortboxes, but I don't use bags or boards. They take up too much space, are expensive, and I don't find them necessary either. I know a lot of people bag and board theirs to keep them in good condition, but mine are none the worse for sitting in the boxes without them. Plus, I just buy to read, not to collect, so I don't have many that are worth anything.
Those plastic bins you get a walmart/Target. I usually try to get the clear kind. I can hold up about three years worth of comics and trades. Pretty niffy.
I walk all over the place so I need a back pack... So they don't bend I have a small comic container... holds up to 15 comics. I do bag and board mine, but for the stuff I read again I don't tape them shut. And I currently have 4 short storage boxes to put everything (not much room for any long boxes) in. I put trades and hard backs on a book shelf.
I'll never tell.

If thieves are everywhere, then they have discovered your methods because they were watching you. You don't have to tell... they already know. HA!
I have 11 longboxes and 2 shortboxes, but I don't bag and board, unless the issue is signed or something.

I use the bags that the comic book store I go to gives out with each one. My comic store is awesome and just buys a bunch of book wallets and gives each costumer one for each of their comics. Though I actually do need to buy some anyway... I have lost a bunch by not being careful.

I don't use the backing boards and right now I don't have any boxes, though I am looking into it. For the moment it's easier storage to put them flat on my bookshelf because space is an issue in my place.

I bag and board mine. I also tape them shut, and store them in shortboxes which are neatly divided by labeled tabs. I'm kind of a**l retentive about that sort of thing.
Oh god, you guys make me feel terrible~
I'm very careless with most of my comics after I buy them

If they come in the carrier bags (usually only when they're back issues) I keep them in that and sometimes put multiple comics in them. Like during Flashpoint I usually kept each issue of the mini series in one bag. I just started reading comics almost 2 years ago, and while I have enough to start filling a long box I haven't bothered to get one because of space/low priority.

On the other hand, my trades are always stacked up neatly on shelves and away from any possible danger.
