I would very much say so. 3nodding

Second Coming keeps on rewarding me for deciding just to read random fragments of it. It's just a great little one-shot that shows how little the quality of 'X-Menishness' depends on any particular cast of characters, as you can do a close-to-definitive X-Men story like this in so few pages with characters we don't really think of as X-Men. And it's got snark on a level you'd only expect to see if Ellis ever wrote Brainiac 5.

That was definitely a humorous issue. At first I had regretted buying it, thinking I wasn't going to enjoy it all that much, but I'm trying to buy any One-Shots for Second Coming.

I don't remember Dr. Nemesis being that funny. Has Fraction been writing him differently, or was it all just going over my head? probably the latter

Fraction's always had that as Nemesis' general attitudite, but Spurrier certainly turned the 'funny' dial up. 3nodding
