Nyaaah, uh whatever Daredevil and X-Men titles I can get my hands on.

There's no way Marvel is going to get away with Big Zero, as hilarious as she and the Executioner sound.

Skrull Kill Krew had a neo-nazi skinhead as one of the protagonists. It'll work out fine.

I'm proud to be here at the creation of this thread. For the DC CCC, I was on Gaia, but not participating in the comic discussions because, frankly, I was unaware of its existence.

So, for Marvel I am reading:

Dark Avengers
Secret Warriors
Uncanny X-Men
X-Force

I know it's not much, but I am more of a DC person. And with adding Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps to my pull list today (because I kept asking for issues of these two titles, but they were always sold out and they decided to add them to my list), I am spending too much money on comics. Not too many Marvel titles strike my fancy, but I am very open minded and would love for some suggestions, even if it is just so that I can read them while I'm at the comic book store.

I just finished with Dark Avengers #2 and it was okay. I liked the ending with the decimation of Sentry. Which kinda sucks because I was looking at him in certain panels and thinking "Hm, he seems like a pretty cool character. A little like Superman and a little whiney, from what I hear, but he seems decent enough". Then BOOM! destroyed by Morgana Le Fey. Not to be confused with Morgaine Le Fey.

Agents of Atlas
Ms. Marvel
Incredible Hercules (in trade)
Thor (in trade)

...that's pretty much it, right now. Maybe now that there's a thread like this, I'll check out what other people are buzzing about.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
AVENGERS/INVADERS
CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI13
INVINCIBLE IRON MAN
MARVEL APES: SPEEDBALL
AMAZING SPIDER-GIRL
CAPTAIN AMERICA
DARK AVENGERS

AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE
MIGHTY AVENGERS

Bold are ones I WILL be reading... soon.

As for Wondercon announcements... Don't too much care about Art Adams signing a Marvel exclusive until he starts doing something that isn't written by Jeph Loeb. Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men crossover could have some definite potential with Fraction writing it. I like his Norman Osborn in Invincible Iron Man, and he's been doing great things with Uncanny X-Men. Dark Reign: Zodiac could be pretty cool too, especially if they decide to throw Jake Fury into the mix.

Yeah, this absolutely feels natural to where the story in Uncanny's going so I'm glad they not messing about and are just going for it. I'm also pleased they're doing it in the titles rather than in a mini and that Bendis is stepping aside to let Fraction write the Dark Avengers issues. Yay! A story I'm looking forward to is getting told in the most sensible way!

Since this'll presumably bring Emma's involvement in the Illuminaughty to an end though, I hope we get lots more Emma/Namor intrigue before it happens.

Should be unspeakably nasty, I think. The Milkman Murders proved that there are horrors lurking in certain corners of Joe Casey's mind. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

Lunaris Wolf

Uncanny X-Men
X-Force

Since I'm reading Uncanny but not X-Force, you're probably the best person to help me with this...

One plotline I'm really into in Uncanny is Scott keeping the existence of X-Force secret from Emma. Am I getting the whole of this story in Uncanny, or is there stuff from the X-Force book itself I need to know?

Yeah, and Cornell never treats subjects like this flippantly.
Hilariously, yes. Flippantly, no.

Pinder...while not as good as the first Annihilation I would definitely pick up the second one. It's good(better than any other Marvel event) and everything in Guardians is spun from it. Guardians and Nova are both great and War of Kings is looking good too.

What am I reading:

- Fantastic Four.
- Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four heart
- Captain Britain
- Ms. Marvel
- Thor

And may the ghost of Tiny Tim forgive me...

- Moon Knight.

pinderpanda

Captain Britain and MI-13
X-Men in their Uncanny,Astonishing and Noir iterations.
Fantastic Four
Invincible Iron Man
Mighty Avengers
Daredevil

I'm well aware that I should be reading Incredible Hercules and Captain America, and some day soon I'll go back to the start of those runs and put that right, but what else is missing from my pull list if I want to be taken seriously in the better circles of society?

I actually think you're in the clear. Ms. Marvel's ending, Spider-Girl's ending, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane still hasn't come back ...

My Marvel list is

Spider-Girl (*sniff*) (in digests)
Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane (in digests)
Daredevil
Runaways (in hc)
Young Avengers

So ... what's Captain Britain and Agents of Atlas about?

When did they announce Ms. Marvel ending?

Agents of Atlas is the story of a group of heroes who teamed up briefly in the 50's who have reunited now. Each of the characters is a character that existed in comics published back when Marvel was known as Atlas. The original story that united these characters was actually a "What If the Avengers formed in the 50's" tale.

They are led by Jimmy Woo, a Chinese-American secret agent who spent the 50's trying to track down the notorious Eastern cartel known as Yellow Claw.

His team includes:

Ken Hale, the Gorilla Man
M-11 the Human Android
Venus
Bob Grayson, aka Marvel Boy
Namora, cousin of Namor

The original miniseries, which was published in 06, is the story of the team reuniting in modern times. Since the 50's, of course, Jimmy Woo grew old. He became a SHIELD agent, but went off the grid in a quest to take down Yellow Claw that failed spectacularily, nearly killing him. M-11 and Gorilla Man steal his body and bring it to Bob Grayson, who uses Uranian science to restore Jimmy...the only downside is that it is the Jimmy that Bob last remembers, the Jimmy Woo of the 1950's.

From there, Jimmy reunites his team to take down Yellow Claw.

I won't tell you the rest of the plot of the mini because I'd like you all to read it and enjoy just how damn FUN it is.

The current Agents of Atlas ongoing has the team continuing to work together 'off the grid.' They're officially considered supervillains, in a counterpoint to all the villains Osborn is masquerading as superheroes. Check it out. 3nodding

That's the whole of the story. He's pretty much keeping it a secret from everyone not in X-Force. The actual issues of X-Force are their missions, obviously. Pretty much if you're only reading Uncanny, it's like Scott is keeping a secret from you.

Normal People Make a Living. Deranged People Make History.

From Genesis to Fruition

Ms. Marvel is ending in the same way "The Incredible Hulk" ended, the numbering and title will continue, but Moonstone is taking over as Ms. Marvel.

That sounds neat, I'll get the trade.

my monthly sadistic addictions are

- Daredevil
-incredible Hercules
-Hulk (i don't know why i submit myself to this when all it does is make me spew hatred)
-Punisher MAX ( still my vote for best kept secret)
-Captain America
- X-force
- Cable
- X-men legacy and Uncanny
-Deadpool
-Thunderbolts
- tried and actually somewhat liked the new Punisher title , even though it meant MAX had to get retitled.
- New Avengers, i simply love Ms.Marvel, Spider-woman and Luke Cage.

i read both and i'm confused about one thing, Archangel's transformations are not mentioned in any other titles, like not even offhandedly, i mean what's that about?
