So is anyone else even remotely interested in the X-23 ongoing? I am such a sucker for character rehabilitation.

It's an Ongoing about a character with a Violent and tragic past, a tendency to be quiet and reserved and big bright green eyes.

I'm not honestly expecting them to. I would love the idea if it happened but this book is by no means going to be Pixie Strikes Back Again. Liu seems very ambitious in terms of where she wants to take the character and I'm intrigued, especially since she's telling one hell of a story in Black Widow.

Yeah, I'll be picking it up. I like Laura's character and would like to see her continue to grow into a major player in the Marvel U.

How did you come to be a fan of her?

Really, X-23's the only one out the Wolverine thing that I actually care for. Might be because of her being a female, might be because she was in X-Force, and I really like X-Force.

How did you come to be a fan of her?

It was around the time that Messiah Complex first started, I was picking up the New X-Men title and she intrigued me. I knew nothing of her except she had adamantium bones/claws like Wolverine (At this point I didn't know that she was Logan's clone) and even then I didn't realize how much I liked her until I saw the X-23: Target X six issue mini-series. I picked up the final 3 issues (I've never been able to find the first three). That's where I learned more about her and I loved it.

I wouldn't say I follow everything she's in, but as far as Marvel characters go, she's up there on my list of favorites. And yet Daken has never intrigued me quite as much as Laura.

And when I read her in X-Force, I liked that she was young, but always seemed to have a plan. Even when she's unsure of herself she keeps it inside and maintains a confident demeanor, for the most part.

Now that Laura is not on a team and on her own, for the most part, I'd like to see how she evolves as a character.

Bloody hell, have you lot seen the solicts for Chaos War?

It'd assumed it was just the next miniseries continuation of iHerc, like Fall of an Avenger or Prince of Power was... but no. It's a full on EVENT with nine million tie-ins that range from a heavy connection to the fzzzy Hulk books to an X-Men: Chaos War book by Claremont.

Not best pleased. sad

Yeeeees. They were up front enough about the fact that'd plough on with 'family' events like the X-centric Second Coming, the Cosmic Thanos Imperative and the Streetpernatural Shadowland, but it's hard to see what family all the following fall into...

If you've got the Avengers, the X-Men, the Cosmic characters and the Hulks all involved then it looks pretty 'line wide' to me. stare

Normally it's pretty easy to navigate these things using Great ComicCritics Secret. But in this situation that suggests that I'm going to have to engage with the Hulk books. And I really don't want to engage with the Hulk books.
