Even when sharing page with the likes of Galactus and the Surfer, you can trust Odin to go the extra mile to distinguish himself in the p***k field. And when not, he has to top Thor every other month anyway.
Is hard to think of any comic that needs its civilian/human counterpart more than the Thor corner of the comic universe to keep everything smooth. Because a couple of arcs featuring only the godly side in a row and you realize Loki is genuinely the more likeable character in the asgardian court.
Thor comics have proven to be so much fun when not in continuity, why does Marvel think they have to be all pricks in today's 616 is a mystery.

I'm so shamelessly affiliated with Kid Loki right now that I can't imagine any circumstances under which I didn't like him bestest.
I don't think they're all pricks though... there's Sif, and Volstagg, and...and.. I've been enjoying Valkyrie a lot lately... and...um...and those sweary dwarves were fun... and...and other than that I think I just realised why I read so few Thor comics.
