Killer Frost was pretty, um, cool

Sterling Gates did great on that & he's been killing it on Vibe, I am really looking forward to Black Adam : O

Super Genius

I dunno. I didn't have any of them in my folder when I bought books. I think the only DC comic I got was MOTU vs DCU neutral
I've only read six of the currently available "Forever Evil" one shots. Most of the ones released so far just haven't probed my curiosity. The ones I did buy were hit and miss.

The Hits
Poison Ivy was one I was looking forward to. I've always been a big fan of hers. Her backstory art was SO beautiful and the story itself was kinda sad. Ivy's got goals. I hope to see more of her soon!

Court of Owls was a very interesting read. It was neat to learn just a little more history about the Court. Definitely excited for October's issue of Talon now!

Killer Frost was one I picked up on a whim, i hardly knew anything about the character, and I'm glad that I did. It was so sad. I really felt for her and I hope she does get cured if her condition even if she is a popular Firestorm villain.

The Misses
The Joker one shot was so-so. It was boring but it wasn't really interesting to me.

The Ventriloquist I picked up because Gail Simone wrote it. I love Batgirl and The Movement. I didn't really care for it though. It just never really gripped me.

Harley Quinn was the biggest miss for me. I'm not gonna complain about Pre52 vs N52 Harley because we all know where every one stands on the matter but I just don't feel like I know Harley anymore. I'm gonna pick up the first issue of her new series but there's a good chance I might not follow it. I'll just stick to my Back Issue Pre52 Harley Quinn series.

One shots I'm looking forward to are Cheetah, Lex Luthor, Joker's Daughter, Ocean Master, & Black Adam.

Very happy with Green Lantern: Black Hand #23.3 and Batman & Robin: Ra's al Ghul #23.3 this week.

Loved the Walking Dead-esque art in GL. I wonder if Martin Jordan's corpse will "miss" his hand?

Loved Ra's origin story! Would've been nice if Ra's would-be assailant was identified (Earth-3 version of Tim Drake?), though--which is a disturbing trend in many of today's comics, Marvel or DC. Please identify your characters for those of us who've kept away from the Batman mythos for years.

Was tempted to pick up the Lex Luthor one-shot, but I didn't. It was displayed right next to the cash register at my comic shop.

Ra's assailant was a nameless goon from Earth 1. Nobody from Earth 3 traveled to Earth 1 besides the Injustice Gang.

The red tunic and cross bandelier straps on his chest originally gave me the impression of an alternate Red Robin, at first. Then again, he doesn't generate electricity, either. Great read, though. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Really liked everything I picked up this week. Rogues, Cheetah & Arcane were probably my favorites. Black Hand and Dial E were great too.

Next week's got Black Adam, I've probably been looking forward to his more than anything. I think getting back to the regular books in October is going to be very, very welcome though, villain month has been fun but I'm ready to get back to my regular pull xp

I picked up all the Bat-books, Justice Leagues, Arcane, and Luther, but only got around to reading the Bat-books and Arcane.

Really enjoyed Arcane, and was able to enjoy the Bat-books for what they were.

Ra’s al Ghul was a nice little look at his origins and what he's looking to do during this event.

Scarecrow was mostly build up toward the Gotham tie-in for Forever Evil, but it was still enjoyable (for me at least).

Clayface and Penguin were just business as usual, despite what's happening in the world. Clayface was the weakest title I read this week, as he sort of just proves he's got clay for brains and we don't really get to see too much of his backstory or anything, really.

Penguin, on the other hand isn't so much bad, as it is not long enough. I feel they could have cut out the bit with the guys in the casino and put something more in the end about the dividing the city up among the other Bat-villains and declaring himself Mayor that has already been done by the time we get to the Scarecrow comic. I'm a big Penguin fan, though, so I still had fun with it, but it isn't anything we haven't seen him do before.

Still just the Justice League titles and Luther to either disappoint or fill me with enjoyment, though. cool

I did quite enjoy the Two-Face issue, though.

And Forever Evil itself was kinda' fun smile
"You do not have the right to an attorney." *shoots knee cap out* Loved me that Two-Face wink

I read all the Batman issues. My favs of which have been Two-Face and Penguin.

Non-Batman books I picked up were Solomon Grundy, Count Vertigo, Darkseid, Lobo, Deadshot, and Arcane. The only one of those i had intended from the get go to get was Deadshot. The rest I picked up after enjoying the first 4 Batman books and Deadshot book or by recommendation. Arcane, Count Vertigo and Darkseid being recommended.

I only grabbed the First Born issue, and got it in the normal cover edition. I dug it and liked finding out his backstory, especially the bits about his armor and spikey bits.

I've been toying with the idea of grabbing Court of Owls, but I'm not sure I care enough to drop the money on it. Very tempted to grab Dial E since I'm unsure about whether it'll be included in the second volume. Of course.. I still need to buy the first, BUT STILL! TEMPTING!

I agree, those were my favorite things I read this week (+ Killer Croc).

Can't say I liked anything else (all the other books with Batman in the title), but I haven't been able to read Detective Comics Man-Bat, yet.

I also liked Parasite, Sinestro & First Born. Parasite was a really pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting much from it but it was pretty funny
I thought Court of Owls was incredible and is likely my favorite of the bunch. The format of this issue - that is, three or four shorter and not necessarily connected stories told within the main narrative - was a fresh take. And the end was just so dark and twisted. I really loved it.
