As both a Batman Lover and conservative Lutheran/American: I quite like that. Kinda wish it just said "For I am Jesus" instead of Dark Jesus, that's sort of an oxymoron.

Sin Fest is fairly satirical of religion in general. The first time Jesus was depicted as a superhero in the comic, his superpower was essentially to be crucified. He did get a pretty spiffy Jesusmobile though.

The implication was always that the Controllers used the devices in their own dimension, so there were probably several. They gave one to the Legion as a gift for stopping the Rogue Controller who created the Sun Eater.

Same problem crops up, though. If the Controllers decided to give the Legion a 'do-over' machine after someone ate the last one, it'd be nice if the text actually SAID so.

To anyone who picked up Final Crisis #6, what character got shat all over?

Batman shot Darkseid in the shoulder, and then got Omega Beam'd. A shot in that spot is not fatal, really; I'm thinking he was trying to provoke Darkseid into doing what he did. Hence "Gotcha."

Well, to be honest, we were tedious enough to demand it. Besides, this now gives an excuse for that whole "Battle of the Cowl" event Didio is hyping. That said, I still think it was part of his plan.
