Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I got all of Buffy season 8 and a Spike spin off series for Christmas and I finished them today along with Angel and Spike: After the fall, and the first 4 books of Buffy season 9 (all I found online.)

I'm super late with the Buffy fandom, I started it in October, but the show and the comics are so amazing and written wonderfully.

I just wanted to talk to some other Buffy fans and find out what they think of the comics.

I enjoyed season 8 quite a bit, Joss and the other writers are amazing at mixing drama and comedy. There have been times that my family has yelled at me from laughing so loud. Still the over all plot seemed a bit too big for Buffy. I'm glad that season 9 seems to be taking it down a notch.

I agree with the plot seeming to big for Buffy but I think if the TV show had an unlimited budget, I am sure Joss could have made it look like the comic.

I was a bit disappointed near the end with the whole thing coming down to Buffy and Angel having sex. Seriously everytime they do it something bad happens. They would be the perfect mascots for sex before marriage.

i love my buffy the vampire slayer dvds, i never read the comics but hear they are quite good. the series does make you want a little vampire loving. buffy is kick a** and strong that's what i love about her. heart

So glad to see there are still angel/buffy fans out there live those series so much just finished reeatching angel loved it well all except for the whole jasine plot was not a big fan of that it made me so angry but still will always love angel buffy and the gang

I'm still watching Angel for the first time. I'm about half way through season three. I never thought I'd be such a big fan of Angel (the character) until I watched the show. David Boreanaz makes him so loveable.

I think I had a fangirl heart attack reading chapter 6 of season 9. I wanted to cry and jump with joy all at the same time.
