Welcome to Gaia! ::

Im going to start one soon, but i'm interested din knowing how a "proper" comic is done.
is there some sortt of rules to layout? or standard reading font?
like where should i go to know the basic run around of what it should look like.

Yes i do read Manga- but idk.. if thats overdoing it or not.

There really isn't "standard" precisely? Every design problem can have different solutions.

For fonts, the only rule almost everyone agrees on is "don't use comic sans." Blambot is a popular site for getting a comic font, they have a large variety for different moods and genres.

Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics and Making Comics are both pretty good reads for thinking about the mechanics of comics.

Though as far as webcomics that I think are pretty boss, here's some:
Ryan Andrews
Alpha Flag
Delilah Dirk
Hemlock
Johnny Wander
TJ and Amal
Manly Guys Doing Manly Things
Emily Carroll
