I just recently started reading Homestuck. (My cosplay friends finally got me into it.)
Just finished... Act 1? Yes I think so. Any advice/tips for future reading?
Like, should I expect or not expect something to happen? Lol.

Some things to keep in mind are 1. You should probably try to avoid the fandom until you catch up to the most recent pages, as it is pretty much spoilers everywhere if you've only read the first act. 2. Like the person above me said, don't skim over pesterlogs, as they are pretty much the main source of dialogue.

Well I have a Tumblr and I follow this one girl who posts/reblogs nothing but Homestuck.. but I don't really pay much attention it to it because I don't know half of what it's talking about anyway lol.

Pesterlogs, okay, I'll keep that in mind.. I've been reading all of them so far but I kinda thought they weren't essential but now I know, so thanks!

I did Dirk<3Equius, Roxy<>Dirk, and I think my last one was Aradia<3Feferi? I wouldn't mind being on the rare pair team either.

I dont think its limited to fanfics, I was looking at some of the stuff from last year and one team even made a short visual novel plus I saw a lot of fanart and stuff too...

Okay, neat! I read through it and signed up for Team English. I don't know if I would have time to be a good team member and make things, but voting and watching seems like a lot of fun.
