My god what a MORON you are!

I'm sorry, but people, even in manga, do not look like THAT

I guarantee even in the very off chance you talk to a publisher, they will laugh in your face and turn you away, a steaming pile of crap like that will never get any readers and will never make any money.

Publishing it online is just going to make you look like a fool and gain more flamers like us.

You're clearly only a little kid, I'm guessing age 10-12, so our flaming may seem cruel, but none of it are lies just to make you cry, it's all true.

Your 'manga' is crap, your drawing is crap, your 'writing' is crap and it will fail, I guarantee it.

If you can convince me that Twilight is an intelligent work of literature I will give you 1, 000, 000 gold and every item in my inventory.
So go ahead and try.
PM me anytime.

Hey, I say go for it. If you can impress people and get them hooked on it--then why not. Even so, it doesn't have to be for the whole world and that's unlikely, just make it for you and the people around you. Theres just a ton of kids on here who worry so much about their image and try to look superior by using big words and acting like cocks. Good luck. Don't listen to the douches.

I'd never let people tell me I suck stop me from making comics before. As long as you learn from the mistake you make, you'll get better, trust me.

I've been drawing comics for 6-ish years, and one. ONE got off the ground, and it only lasted 2 months. But I learned what I did wrong, and fixed it. Goes for drawing proportions, and drawing manga in general.

I'm doing this for nanomango, not to get published neutral

I have to say go for it as well. It doesn't matter if it's popular, but it's for self- growth! Practice makes perfect and that is the only way to get better. Constructive criticism in itself is fine, but calling people dense or morons just because they want to do something isn't. My art isn't the greatest in the world, and my writing definatly has a long way to go, but that doesn't mean I'll stop. Everyone gets to the place they are now somehow, they didn't just magically wake up one day and have amazing artistic abilities. Some just take longer than others, so I encourage you to keep trying and don't let people who feel they are superior to you bring you down ^__^ Though some of the advice in this thread is very good smile

oh, first 3 pages are up whee please comment
I hope it's not too much of a cliffhanger for you guys

For your next page, try to reference a real human being. If you have no one to pose for you, look for photographs. You'll get a much better result than by trying to draw from your imagination.

Dayum Guys, It's obviously a practice comic no need for this intense flaming.

ninota's advice is sound, reference real people when you draw your comic it'll help you leaps and bounds in the future.

Im not gonna lie, your story is really cliche, but with a practice comic (especially it its for nano) I dont think that really matters. What matters is that you FINISH the comic.

What you're doing right: You're not avoiding draw hands or fights. Now mind you, you're not drawing them especially accurate but you're trying so that's a step in the right direction.

Also you're not crowding panels too much so that's appreciated as well. Keep trucking and good luck with Nano.

ok, thanks surprised

Really, don't try to draw from your imagination until you've done a lot of drawing from observation (of real people/photos, not of other drawings). Give it a try, you'll see what I mean. wink

Good luck with your manga.

Thank you for the L33t Gamer, anonymous benefactor! heart
