We get the gist. I sincerely doubt it'll possess complex inter-personal relationships and a deep brooding plot. We don't want to see it, so please, for the love of the Gods and all that is holy, don't ever put up your "manga".

You just said that you would do it by the weekend. You are going to try to improve your art and have good writing, a story with a setting, a plot, and fleshed out characters

You're right, you do.
Try to build on the essentials first though, ok? Try and find some pointers on proportion online. Practice realism/still life. Draw realistic caricatures of your friends.
As well, try and think of a plot a little less... basic. It's been done before. Try and think of something no one has done. I know it's easier said than done, but let it come to you. Or take something already done and add a neat twist.
