I didn't build it so I have no idea what you're talking about, at best I know the coding to make a link a href=http... and an image img src=http.... but past that I have no idea.

And for that matter in relation to your comic, have you ever been to Yaoicon?

I don't even really remember what the first one looked like, to be honest. I'd probably go "Oh, yeah." if I was to see it... but as is no memories come to mind. But yeah, whatever. All I'm offering is a simplistic website that might actually be done... since I didn't know if there was anything else being offered.

Anyway yes I'm really glad you're offering even a simplistic website, and if it's simple I'll be able to set it up and maintain it myself because the way the new site is set up I can't update it because I don't understand any of the coding to it.

Is it possible up the side bar pannel to put a series of horizontal link bars, or advertisments or something? In the background that is.
And is it done as different frames? so if the main frame where the words are goes off the page will you get a side bar just where that frame is or will the whole screan scroll? I'd rather the whole screan scroll.

My geography sucks so I assumed it wasn't that far since you're not from texas. (Thats where my geological divides are, Florida and Texas = far, Everything else, Walking distnce.)

I ask partially for small talk and partially because I'm debating in the budget to pick one large con and try to arange to get all the artists there. It would make a good meetup but if we can get a Panal (even if we're not popular "How to publish Comics" always does well) we'll get a little more known the more Con's we do (one f the tips in my publishing book was to get out there, if you don't have a booth you won't get the pity sale.) But it's all a rather expensive pipe dream (because it's about 600$ - 1000$ to fly people to anywhere and if we've got 10 people that just ate up all the PBS money.)

Hmmm... so, you're asking if instead of vertical links leading to the other parts of the site, if those could be on the top? They could be, though I kind of like them over there to frame the actual subject matter of the page.

As far as a banner spot for advertisements or whatnot... I would suggest throwing them into the big black spot under the title area. I wasn't thinking when I threw that in and the text should get moved up... but you could easily throw in a banner of some sort there. *shrugs* And the whole thing is just made with tables, no frames. So the whole screen will scroll, not just that one area. The idea would be that as the screen scrolls by the vertical bars would scroll as well until they got to the bottom. Again, that requires an HTML trick that I don't happen to remember and didn't bother to look up again.

Well, let me know when you're arranging to go set stuff up at any cons yourself. As far as I had been thinking I have no budget for travel this year (Had to fix a broken car.) -save the local Portland con- but I generally try to hit at least one a year, soooo.... if you let me know where you might be after half a year or so I might try to arrange it. *shrugs and yawns*

I've been thinking recently, and for this run I plan to help you out more if at all possible. At least with Anti-Bishie.... I flipped through "Unoriginal 1/2" again today (Noticing what you meant about the print. Looks like the printer almost xeroxed half of it. Bah.) and thought that I could at least do more for my stuff. All I did was just give it to you and say, "Print if you want." This time I want you to let me know just what file type and sizing to use and then edit it to look nicer. I was also pondering what size of paper you planned, or if you planned, or what.... If it's the same 8 x 11 I would even think about flipping the Anti-Bishie comics sideways and printing two per page.

Well this time around depending on how many things go, and how many people are on board. I'm going to go perfect binding the... uu.... like 4x8 or someodd size? (Basically the same size as a graphic novel) But it all depends on "Do I buy my own printer or go with another group? Will they be able to do what I want? Will they be cheaper then buing my own printer? Will the printer be a wise investment if I don't know how to use it" I mean what I want to get is vastly different from what the Print shop I was working at had and for that matter, look at how much suck they had in it. So, we'll have to see. I've got all the reseach done for different print studios but I'm always nervous when it comes to shipping and the like. Do I ship it to my house? To the comic shop in town that has become my base of operations? Right to the distributor? What if the print is late? get's lost in mail? The printer bails?

On another note... is there any desire for me to actually make a more "finished" website as per my design or would the plan be to put off something like that.

I only ask as I'm presently going through a phase of sorts where I'm actually capable of working and thought to perhaps put that to good effect. I believe there was mention of a vote or something... but, yeah. I thought that I might do something this weekend, but I really do hate foolishly wasting my time, so... yes.

As far as those printer woes you mentioned earlier; afraid that I can't really relate as I don't often deal with printers for anything save... well... worthless junk. I think the last time I used a printer for a decent print project was in 2001. And as far as binding goes; no clue about that. I do know how to laminate though. (Useless skill #1!)

Along with the main page then could you make a page kind of like your main page on Antibishie where there are no *Waves arms because I've forgotten the word*
Frames! (that's it) so I can put the comic there and it's simple and easy to navigate with nothing distracting a person.

Just as a personaly update, I'm sick again, And it looks like this one's moving into my lungs.
