As I posted in the thread I'm trying to make a "Steps of Comic Book making" sort of thing.
And since I need to compleat step one myself (get 200 pages of comic done) we stay on Hiatus till I'm finished that.
In any case. I'm looking for a Writer for my Comic Pandora, if anyone's interested then PM me and I'll give you the details. I've got the basic idea and general timeline but I'm having trouble starting it off. I'll do a payment of an art exchance. For each page I draw of my creation that you help me with, I'll draw one of your creation.
Still looking for anyone that's bored to help me out with things too.

You see, there are a few personal things going on in my life right now, Not that you care but I'm taking Japanese classes, got a new boyfriend working full time as a teacher and dong all the day to day living and making mony stuff.
The official PBS cashcount is about $7,000 CND
However I'm going to invest that into property.
I'll officially be returning to Canada in May 2008 as I've signed another contract with my company. Depending on my feelings at the time I may be investing into opening a Maid Cafe in the City where I live or returning to school or taking Voice acting lessons or signing onto a five year contract in Japan as a teacher.
I just don't know yet.
I really want to continue this project but so far it's just been me and Anti as of the past few months. All those who had started this company with me have left. All those who are still here no longer wish to acctually do the grunt work behind it only the fun parts and then abandon the rest.
This is still my dream, this is still my ideal and I will still work to the bitter bankrupt end to try my damndest to make this work, but for now I remove all dates, I retract all agreements and I give no promises.
Post, praise or pity. But I reccomend all of you take a good look at your own studios and your own goals and your own work and see what you will be making of it.

Unoriginal 2
FINAL Due Date: UNDECIDED
Print Date: UNDECIDED
Anything you want. Examples of work see the last two unoriginals, but we have wearwolf stories, Filler rabbits, RPG jokes. Yaoi induced humor everything. Although we're aiming at a pg-13 kinda rating.
You can send in stuff (PM me first and I'll give you the e-mail to send in) at any time.
DON'T SEND ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT PRINTED.
We'll be sending out contracts before the final due dates. Both final copy and contract is due on the due date. From FINAL due date to Print date be prepaired to make a ton of last minute changes and fixing to your comic. If you are unavalible during this time and doN't give us permission to make our own changes to yur comic wen needed then your comic may be dropped.
To those who are not artistic or don't think they can make the due dates. We have other jobs you may be able to do.
Here's what I'm talking About

Okay Anti is working on the webpage, I'm going to start working on that, re-do alot of that stuff next Thursday/Friday (Possibly as early as Wednesday)
So our next big step is alot of the business stuff. So grab your friends that are totally not Artistc and point them here. Because while we are always looking for artists and writers. Right now we're not.
As you'll see in the rant there are alot of different positions that need to be filled, and the whole reason why we are not bigger then we are is because there is only one person (me) filling those positions (cept the editing for the writing part, I had one person doing that)
So this is also just sort of a word of warning or a cautionary tail to all the other Studio's out there as well. You can have artists coming out the wazoo and they can have talent out their ears but if you can get these positions filled. You're boned.

What's Up:
-I'm the Leader.
-We're working on the webpage
-We're still Hireing
-I'm still going to be a hardass about it.
Other then that once the webpage is up I'm going to issue a Challenge comic. If you're in our group your comic has a garuntee of being in, once it's been thuroughly gone over by the editors. If you're not in the group but want in on the challenge but don't what to deal with the application, you can contest submit, but that means you get one shot only to get your idea in, the editors unless they feel compelled to do so will not look over your work so if it's not good enough or has mistakes it's just out. Hell if it looks like theres interest I'll scrounge togeather a prize for the contest.
What Else.
Oh should I bother to make a Gaia guild for all this or just a Forum off Gaia, I'm thinking Forum off Gaia.

Okay I think I've shaken a few boats. Now let's decide what should be done first.
-Leadership and other positions
-Name
-something else.
This is only going to be up for a short time,

THIS FRONT PAGE WILL CHANGE EVERY FEW DAYS: (See next post for past front pages)
Basically I have approached many of the studios on Gaia already, and I'm suggesting a joint studio. So far I have been met with suspicion (I didn't realize how much of a car salesman pitch I had) because there is risk. However with all the studios apart being as small as you are with the mad lack of funding there is already a risk of never printing.
Hence the idea to create a New studio or at lest a publishing company which all the smaller Gaia studio's will be under. This way we can all work together for one common goal and have more support and more workers.
Okay so What are the Benefits?
-Psycho Bunny Studio's is currently working on amassing $40,000 in order to get this studio off the ground ((HOWEVER because this money is coming from personal funding of one individual do not rely on it. This money gives said individual the final say on anything and unless you can outbid them on said project or be able to pay for it yourself then while we pretend it's a democracy... It's not))((but isn't that the way anything works?))
-Joint Studios means you have more people working on a project, more experience and if you set a deadline and some people can't make it there are more people who will be able to pick it up. (This also works in the case of if someone leaves or your studio suddenly collapses and you've got some pissed off artist at your door.)
-You do NOT have to shut down your studio. If you want to keep your studio name and how you operate that's fine. In fact it's prefered, however the big studio will ask for projects from you or assistance on it's projects.
-If your lucky your studio may become the Big Studio! (Name contest)
-Real Lawyers! (wait maybe that should be the drawback...)
Basically the biggest draw for this is the security in numbers and that PBS has printed before so you're getting someone who IS experienced but who's studio is falling apart and this is willing to dismantle and start again from scratch.
Okay there has to be some drawbacks!
-You can't depend on the funding.
At any point PBS might decide to remove the finding, so while it is a dream, it's not a for sure thing (after all I could buy a house with this or go back to school and get a real career instead of trying to publish)
However this leaves you no more ahead or behind then you are now. If anything it puts you ahead because you've met up with all the other studios and were able to get some experience from it and maybe you now have your project done where without the deadline you would have putzed at it for much longer.
-Work getting stolen
This can happen with any of your own studios too unless you know everyone personally (and I mean they live in the same town as you) Can't trust anyone on the internet. And this sort of thing happens with real companies too. Copyright issues suck.
However you can do the poor mans copyright and post your stuff on the internet, watermark it all, or mail it to yourself and not open the envelope until the time comes you need to sue someone.
-Dealing with Real Lawyers.
This is a plus and a negative as due to the nature of legal contracts you need a lawyer to translate them to begin with so whomever is contacting the lawyer and legalizing everything could throw in a few clauses that leave everyone else boned. Hence the need for when people get their contracts to have another lawyer look at them which costs money.
However this all prevents the risk of someone getting screwed in the end.
In either case think it over, debate it here or in your own studios/guilds/pm's tell me what you think, let me address you concerns.
With every golden opportunity it could be fools gold but isn't the dream still worth the risk?
