Welcome to Gaia! ::

Ah, I've been neglecting all week. x.x
I just managed to get back up to speed though, so 20 pages roughly done.. but now I have no more comic paper. XD;

Gee Winifred you sure do spend a lot of time around that guy-that-you-don't-like.
Made it to 11 pages so far today, and got the next round of designs (for pages 12-15) whipped out, so let's see how far I can get this afternoon... still not throwing in the towel on this!
I'm going to be spending a lot of time with this on Thanksgiving Vacation-not to mention some other projects of mine 0-0; gosh-how id I get so balled up?! Thumbnails were so much easier D.>
Page Five

I'm at 13/30 now, counting the ones that I haven't uploaded (coloured) and the ones from my other comic. School is about to go on break, so I hope that I can have more time.
Huzzah! Almost half way there, merixthexninja!

As time is 2/3 through. xD But I guess I'm not doing too bad, although I envy those who stuck to a page a day.
XD In comparison to some? You're doing great!

Take me for example! I didn't even know about this till it was a third of the way in, and finished my thumbnails a week later, and then I slacked D< A page a day seems so gracious at the moment...
After taking a break from the mad dash I did last weekend, I started writing out and thumbnailing my next comic. 13 pages thumbnailed, another couple planned, this might be 17 pages total which would bring me up to an even 30 if I finish them all 3nodding . I plan to finish thumbs and start drawing this weekend, got a lotta catch-up to do.
Made it to 14 today! I'll do some more while I'm on break at work tomorrow, and in the afternoon, and keep working on cranking out the pencils...
YES. YES. YES. YES. YES.

I FINISHED THUMBNAILING ALL 30 PAGES. Two whole effing chapters! I feel so proud of myself. I scripted 9/30 pages so far, and now I think I'll head to bed.

But, here lies the problem. I went through my pages, and I found it's moving kind of slowly. I thought the beginning was moving too quickly, so I started slowing down the paneling by adding more panels of small movements or gestures that might add more depth in the conversation or action. Now, it's almost too slow, especially toward the last few pages.

Whatever, I'll learn from my mistakes. It's my first [real] shot at comic making, and I think I'm doing pretty well. Drawing page 1 starts tomorrow!
Page the sixth.

The good thing about this style is that it literally takes ten minutes to colour. <3

Congrats on finishing thumbs, Kupocake. =)

Straight lines.......
I'm thinking about jumping in on this, but I'm starting really late, have never made a real comic attempt before, and don't have a middle to my story. I do have the week off and something of a start though.
Fuuuu . . . . I only have one page done and even then it still needs scannin'. ;_;
Page two does so not want to work out for me at all though !
Everything about it just looks so bad, right to the point that I wanted to lob my clipboard across the room. D:
Augh, I'll keep on trying. :<
