First things first I have never drawn a webcomic before. This doesn't mean I'm completely ignorant about how to set up pages though. I know you shouldn't have have more than 11 panels per page, and undertand there needs to be different angles and backgrounds, I also know toning basics.
Things I can draw just not well: guns, furry/anthro, and super complicated mecha. The only thing I refuse to draw is r rated material (porn).
I would love to see a sample of your writing or something thats shows me you have some plot or characters thought out. This is so I can evaluate your skill. I'm not super nit picky or anything so when I say evaluate I just mean that I want to make sure that I can accomplish/suit your story needs.
I'm open to all genres and have been told I'm easy to work with. So if you're interested, have suggestions, just want to talk etc. Please post.
Lol while you make a great argument I have to partly disagree sex sells to an 18 and older age group and there lies the issue; it's confining. There is a reason why teen fiction books sell more than adult novels. I have no problem drawing man and lady parts but I rather have 100 people enjoy my work rather than 20. Besides I'm all for sexy characters just not chapters about how they are in bed I'll leave that to the smut fanfic writers.
Hrm... I have a few ideas I've been kicking around, but I'm not sure how close I am to actually writing up scripts for them.
I have an old comic here and my current series here if you want to see my embarrassing evolution of dialogue writing. I actually kinda wish I could go back and rewrite some things. I'd probably also want to redraw, too, my art was pretty bad back then. sweatdrop
Your old comic is awesome! I couldn't stop reading it!! 3nodding
I actually decided "******** it" and started sketching out the plans for the sequel for Melody & Macabre. But this thread isn't about me. sweatdrop
OP, did you find someone to write for you? Oh, you did... congrats!
