Ok, so i'm making a new manga comic and I might be making some shorts to put up on youtube 3nodding
I'm still working out characters so if you have any suggestions feel free to tell me dramallama

Uh... I don't know... don't you have friends for this kind of thing?

The best suggestion I can think of is, do what you want to see. If you don't have enough ideas, don't do anything. Just lock yourself in a room or something, and do a crapload of brainstorming. Think of the things you think would be cool, funny, dramatic, etc.

Then find some friend whose opinion you trust, and see what they think about your ideas. If they don't find your comedy funny, your drama engaging, or your action awesome, ask them what they think the problem is, and go back to the drawing board. Or seek out a second and third opinion - but if they agree with the first, go do what I said, and figure out how to make it better. But again, ultimately you have final say-so, and you need to be happy with your work.
