I don't have alot of confidence in my writing though. I need to practice writing interesting dialogue. Maybe I should find a writing mentor xd I see threads for art mentors all the time, maybe it's worth a shot.

Haha, well I don't usually show such restraint, but I didn't think making a joke about ****** would go down particularly well. Plus I do have a habit, IRL, of making sarcastic comments just because I can't resist (when people give me an opening...) even though I don't mean them at all. And then people always take me seriously (do they never learn?!) and I spent the next half-hour persuading them that I didn't mean it when I could be doing much more worthwhile things. x3

So, yeah. I'm practising restraining myself.

I'm really sarcastic too and sometimes make jokes that if people didn't know me would be like, "WTF?!" Unfortunately, sarcasm doesn't translate well over the Internet. >_>;

enchantedsleeper: If I make a joke about something and I get a odd look, I follow up with, "Hey, if we weren't laughing, we'd be crying. :/"

McGrumpypants: I have to quote Crispin Freeman: "I don't get offended, I just get...bored. Because I'm like, wow, that was just stupid." It was something to that effect.

Nah, it's more amusing just to leave you hanging (and then maybe your imagination will supply a joke that's actually funny x3). If I tell you now I'm sure your expectations will be disappointed.

Aww well I dont think anyone in the elevated equine society is on right now, but I suppose if you dont want to be flamed later it would be a good idea to restrain yourself. I would make sarcastic jokes all the time, but Im not very good at being funny. Which is why I love comedians. wink

But in the meantime I shall make sad face at the lack of sarcasm. crying

Granted to me, some things should be given that it's sarcasm.

Chinko-chan: I make people laugh all the time with the crap I say. I have a "Lewis Black-esque" sense of humor, you could say.

Well, my mom doesn't laugh, but she hates to watch any kind of comedy. I almost had to DRAG her to Zombieland.

For some reason, people tend to laugh the hardest at things I say that aren't meant to be funny. It's a little unnerving ^^; I don't even know what the common link is between them; they've just been random comments that for some reason, people have found incredibly hilarious.

But I can also make people laugh intentionally. Usually with sarcasm. I used to talk back a lot to my French teacher last year and in my GCSE years (I've had the misfortune of being taught by him for five years out of seven gonk ) in a way that I would never do with any other teacher, because I knew I could get away with it. And because he was useless and pretty much deserved it. Two of my classmates used to write down the best exchanges in the back of a homework diary. x3
