Powermode has said what I wanted to say but felt too lazy to actually type it all. I'm Christian myself, believe it or not. Obviously if you've even had a glance at my web-comic you'll know I'm a fairly...casual Christian. Not to turn this into a big religious debate of course, but if Athiests are so smart, let them explain who or what created the universe. "A higher power created it" sounds a lot more fun than "uhhh...".

Religion seems unappealing because a lot of very ignorant and very hypocritical people have made it so. But if you dive past the retards and actually bother to read a book or two about world religions.... Well it's all pretty interesting stuff. If nothing else, they're good stories.

But yeah PBS, I think you're being punk'd by that girl. I mean, what she's basically saying is that being gang banged by a group of men has made her like men more? Yeah right. Unless she was pwnd by women.

Eh, I find it pretty hard to keep faith myself. There's too much unanswered, and I'm not one to blindly follow anything. Not to mention I'm all for homosexuality.

When is later, though? I'd love to know what really awaits me when I die. Preferably before I die. xD

I take comfort in believing that bad people get what they have coming to them.Whether that really exists or not shouldn't matter, IMO. ...Though it better.

A moderator might wander in once in a while and sometimes they show up to lock necro-ed threads, but CC is probably better defined as a self-governing land where regulars yell at idiots until they run away, thus restoring peace in CC-land... >_<'

Gaia would be so much better if the moderators were more visible/active, IMO.

I kind of want someone to start a joint comic sort of thing like we did with the bestest manga or that robot factory thing.

The CC does have mods (I know I've seen them post in here, too), but as a small and slow-moving forum, it doesn't get/need the sort of attention as, say, the GD. Any reason in particular you ask?

It's hard to be more visible, really, when people are concerned we're fascist dictators with what visibility we have. As it is, if one tries to enter a polite debate or make a statement with a green name, people will run around convinced of conspiracies or that they're going to get instantly banned.

There is also the wonder of anonymousness of the internet. I swear if everyone here was a big scare looking guy saying the same things in real life I would have just kept to myself, and I can guess whoever trolled Psycho Bunny Studio doesn't go around telling everyone her long winded sob story either.
In the internet the only thing they can hurt is your feelings really.

I understand what you mean by keeping your faith. Its something that you have to build and really give your whole self up to.
When I pray I really think God listens, but at the same time when I read of such fantastic accounts about miracles and the works of angels I always wish I could have seen it for myself.

Of course, but mules only help the idea that we're shapeless ninjas hiding in the fog.

Buuuut, since the original question was about mods being visible - if anyone ever needs a mod, there's a link to a list at the top of every forum. I can't speak for anyone else, but I keep my online/offline status hidden because it's not accurate to whether I'm actually available anyways, and I know other mods do too, so don't be afraid to PM even if it says they're not on.

Unofficial or informal warnings are just intended as a heads-up. Often about rules that were previously unenforced, or may not be a serious issue.

If a rule really wasn't broken, you can always reply and ask what's going on. People do make mistakes.



Personally, I'd rather be a fascist dictator than a ninja any day. You get to make cool speeches, and see people cower before your open aggression. And wear some sort of psuedo-military uniform and make angry faces all the time. All of those things are totally on my list of things that the coolest job ever would let me do.

Or, since the unofficial warning basically boiled down to "stop posting," I could just completely ignore it. That works, too.

I don't believe mods conspire against any individual posters, but I do believe some mods use the authority a green username might impart them with to give their "friendly suggestions" special emphasis.

But seriously you guys need to post warnings when you see infractions and not fart around with impotent false-warnings when the rules aren't being broken. The latter does the former no favors.

I was asking because this forum is so full of dipshits that even if it's small, we still need more moderation just to get rid of the trolls. The CC was a s**t stain when I left, and now it's turned into a big puddle of diarrhea. As mentioned, I left, so I can't say how unfair or just the moderators are since I'm out of the loop. Unfortunately I can't believe either side since users tend to be butthurt and moderators can be deceitful dicks.
