Yeah, that sounds reasonable. Funny thing about Scai, though; I only just yesterday noticed that he created a thread in the Original Art and Writing subforum, promoting his comic, the day after I'd sent out the announcement and various people came back and replied to it, etc. So... I don't quite know what to make of that, except that he obviously still considered himself a member of the studio at that point. confused Maybe he just doesn't look at guild announcements... except that he still ought to be checking back here, really, and posting. It makes me wonder if it's worth getting in touch with him, though, because if he is still willing to tone for us... that would really help.

Not you too? A girl in my year said she fell asleep in the Lord of the Rings films, and my mum recently said she finds them boring too. HOW? Action! Adventure! Fantasy! Pretty boys! And some really kickass music. In New Zealand. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

Also, I got sidetracked by the comic Stickman and Cube, so I haven't commented yet. xD Would you believe that a guy could make 275 comic strips about a stick man and a cube? Because he did. And they're funny, too.

Because they're soooooooo long. gonk Don't get me wrong, I love those movies (or moreso, I love seeing Orlando bloom as a blonde). It's just that the story's like the book, long and boring.

I could totally believe that. For some reason, I'm thinking back to justflyakite on DA and his shape comics. And now I'm thinking about xkcd. xkcd is more or less all stick figure people but the writing is so hilarious (when I actually get it).

Oh yes, xkcd is one of my favourite comics ^^ I don't always get the scientific, mathematical or programming jokes either, but I understand most of it, and it's pure genius. My best friend and I used to read it in the sixth form Science Study Centre at school, where we had plenty of fellow geeky people to call on to explain the jokes (namely Jordan, our local programmer-hacker who brought down the school computer network at least once and installed Windows 7 on one of the SSC computers, over the top of whatever system the school uses. Practically all you could do with it was play chess, but it was hilarious).

I've drawn some stick comics myself in the past xD

Would you like some storyboards to draw? I believe pages 13 and 14 are the next two that need to be drawn, after which you'll have caught up with Emi's storyboards! So let's hope she draws some more quickly! =D

Some of them are located in the guild, but the full collection is in the Photobucket account, since somewhere along the way we abandoned use of the relevant threads in the guild and just posted new storyboards, inked pages, etc. in here. But I won't make you hunt down both the storyboards and the script for those two pages; I'll just PM them to you.

It's a universal sentiment. Except, I'm not especially fond of pies. They're all right, but I prefer other things. Besides, since pies have all different things inside them... how can anyone say that they like them all?

I dunno, pot pie is pretty good, if you're not fond of sweet pies. I think anyone could find a pie they enjoy. My favorite is pumpkin heart

I've never had pumpkin pie; it's not as common over here as it is where you are. In fact I think it's pretty rare. If I had to pick a favourite pie, it'd probably be... cherry or lemon. 3nodding Although anything with chocolate is also good.
