Although it also proves that inking doesn't take you long when you actually get a move on and do it. rolleyes Hm, but it occurs to me that maybe a little panelling variation would make things more interesting. What do you think about making panels 3 and 4 into a pair of diagonally split panels? Or have we had enough of those recently? There was one on the last page... sort of.

Looking good! I was a bit confused about what Eric was doing in the fourth panel of page 10 but then I saw the dominoes. xD

D: Yeah, I know. Would they STOP messing around and making it 'easier' (the layout was fine to begin with) and actually settle for something? Then and only then will it be an easy site to navigate. They should concentrate on fixing actual bugs instead.

We could advertise for another inker/toner if you want though. I've been thinking about doing it to take off some of the load which is weighing so heavily on you. >.>;; And it'd certainly speed things up, provided that they were prepared to do the work of course.

All right, I'll advertise for just a toner, then. Hopefully we can get someone who's good with consistency, because so far... the pages do look rather different xD

The panels you've just inked are looking pretty good, anyway, although can you make it so that the edges of the tea towel in the second panel of page 8 are absolutely ruler-straight? And make the bottom edge of the panel extend a bit further below the one next to it? It looks a bit funny as it is. We'll need something to make it clear what that panel is actually showing, too. It'd be good if you could tone some kind of a standard tea-towel pattern onto it - something like this or this - though you'd also then have to tone the tea-towel where it appears in previous panels for consistency. ^.^ Think you can do that?

I like the SHOCK HORROR! effect with the lines on page 9 xD Just the left-hand edge of Miles' face in the last panel looks a bit weird... can you make it a little less curved, more like the right-hand side?

Would it be possible for you to redraw Eric's hands as clenched fists in the first panel of page 10? I know it was like that in the original pencils but for some reason I didn't pick up on it... or else I'm sure Naito wouldn't mind redrawing it. :3 Whatever's going on with his leg(s) in the second panel needs sorting as well; I'm not sure how it looks to you guys but to me it looks like he's got a brick pattern below his coat. I've just noticed, too, that the little bowtie Eric had above his button and underneath the tie of the tea-towel has disappeared since his establishing shot on top of that hill-which-magically-appeared-from-nowhere. It'd probably be easier just to get rid of it on there - it's only a very small detail - than to add it in all subsequent panels.

Finally, we need to decide whether all the panels on each page are going to have borders at the sides or not, because at the moment we've got a mixture and I'm not sure that's good. Some pages have all the panels with borders going all the way round, and some have just got them at the top and bottom. Out of our finished pages which have got panels (i.e. not the title page) we've got one of each kind. x3 I don't think it matters which we go with just so long as we stick with one style: either add side borders to the pages which don't have them or take some away (not all of them) on the pages which do, before they're all toned and it gets harder to change stuff.

Damn, I've just noticed something else as well. ><;; Eric's eyemask has also magically disappeared since his establishing shot on page 5, and unlike the little bowtie I don't think we should just pretend it was never there. There was originally a panel in the script where he took it off with a flourish, leaving a tan line behind - remember that? - but it got lost in the edits sweatdrop Hm, what to do about that? Should we add it in in all subsequent panels and say he never took it off, or add in a panel - or a page - somewhere where he takes it off? I did kind of like the tan line thing... x3
