Actually, that's what got me into watching YYH. I watched the first episode of the Abridged version and thought 'Hey, why have I never watched the anime of this?' (I read some of the manga years ago, around when I first joined Gaia and got into anime/manga). So I started to watch the proper version, but I'm not about to watch the spoof until I have. If at all, since I'm pretty loyal to LK as the original creator of Abridged series. x3 And yes, I'm well aware that he's British.

Page 200 ftw!

^ Enchanted should watch Yu Yu Hakusho the Abridged Series (the AS were started by the English after all) by Lanipator whee

Emi: I was very confused! For example, in the tutorial you had the 10 px outline for the bubble, it was too huge for me, so I reduced it to 2 and then it looked like yours.

I was confused on your shape tool section (where you made the yelling bubble). How do you make the shape "fill pixels"?

I also can't figure out how to decrease the spacing between my text gonk
I also don't know how to place the text behind Eric's head in the title page (unless you count erasing the letters of the title that would normally go in front of his head! sad

Like I said, I used a very very large version of the picture I uploaded online, so all my sizes are very very large in comparison.

The decrease spacing method you suggested ironically made the spacing bigger xp

I think I should just download a new version of the font anime ace. Which one do you use?

Well, you could always just lower that number in the circle then. smile

I've no idea which version of Anime Ace I use, but personally, for my own comics and such, I like to use CC Pulp Fiction.

Perhaps we should have enchanted decide.

I was wondering on whose point of view we do comics from. When I was transcribing the roleplay, I did not include thoughts (hence not creating a need for thought bubbles), but I wondering if we should have. gonk

I think it should probably follow Kendra since she is the main character after all.
You want me to decide... over which font to use? They both look fine to me. But firstly, we should be consistent in the font that we use for lettering and secondly, I don't think that downloading a new version will fix your problem, Ben. Just decrease the number in the circle like Emi said; I'm sure that'll do it.

The comic should be from Kendra's point of view (without any actual first-person narrative) because she's the one we've been following from the very beginning, the main character and creator of Sablescape. The others are supposed to seem kind of 2D, in spite of being (to all intents and purposes) real, so putting in their thoughts might counteract that.

Any progress with the inking, Emi?

I totally did not start inking that page right after you asked me how it went. Totally did not. User Image

I think we should standardize the font for the lettering, because the whole problem comes from Emi and I using different ones wink

Excellent. x3 That was the whole point of asking, after all. But are your lines... different to how you did them before? They seem more flowing, and the width varies more, like they were done with a brush or something. (I know they weren't, but that's how it looks. Like calligraphy). Also, your panel borders are thicker than the last page you inked. Can we please try and be consistent? The other pages are right there for you to refer to so you can't blame it on forgetting.

And yes, that's what I was saying about the font. You should be consistent. But further than that, I'm not going to make any decisions. I'm afraid you'll just have to hash out this truly difficult and crucial issue between yourselves.

Better? ('cept for the lines that go past the panels which I'll fix... later.)
Yeup, better. :3 You can fix the lines that poke out when you tone it. Also, you didn't answer my question. Has your inking style changed at all recently?

Oh, i don't think my style has changed... or at least not that I'm aware of I guess. User Image
Hm, interesting. Ah well.
