Yay for thoughts! I replied to your thoughts. Ooooh, you're actually inking your project now! That makes me happy. 8D But, er... why are all the words in the first speech bubble begun with capital letters ('No Freaks In Costumes Allowed Here')? It looks rather strange and doesn't read like proper dialogue. Same thing for the capitalisation of 'murder' in the second and fourth bubbles. Also, I would say "flocks to murders" rather than "flocks in murders". I also think you've got too many speech bubbles with spiky corners, especially where they're touching each other; having so many of them takes away from the effect rather.

Haha, sorry for the on-the-spot criticism XD;; My inner editor is a bit frustrated what with not being allowed to say much about my NaNo novel, so it desperately searches for other things to critique instead.

It's funny that now the guild main forum actually has fewer threads than the Thread Graveyard xD Only by one, but still. And it has an equal number to the Original Art and Writing subforum, although with far more posts per thread, and I think the main forum is slightly more alive too. xD Only slightly though.

Woooow, those are both so awesome. heart I can't decide which is better, but the second one probably edges out by a little bit. (*plays it again*) I loved the whistling too though. And the black and white animation just ROCKS, especially the yin/yang bit at the end. <3 Gotta love that Japanese stuff!

xD Yes, I'm afraid there are still capitalisation issues. You didn't alter the 'murder' capitalisation in the second bubble, and while we're at it, that needs a full stop too. You still have the 'flocks in murders', too, which just isn't grammatically correct; how do you flock 'in' a murder? Or flock in anything for that matter? x3 Also, to the two extra panels at the bottom: I think that 'committed by Shapeshifter' shouldn't have a capital 'c' because it's still the same sentence, and you wouldn't put a capital letter in the middle of a sentence. That bubble needs a full stop too. And you shouldn't have a capital 'o' in 'on his trail'. What is it with you and all your capital letters? xD I'm sure you know the rules of grammar with regards to capitalisation, so therefore these all must be oversights. Recurring oversights. I can understand the odd one slipping past you, but the bubble where you had every word capitalised makes me wonder if you actually read what you write. xD You should probably get into the habit of really scrutinising your lettering for rogue capitals after you've typed it.

I think I actually like the lyric'ed one because I love seeing it in the animation.

I read what I write.... I just don't notice the capitals, only the spelling mistakes.... >.> I'll fix it again.

And I put flocks in murders because that's how the saying goes... or not. Hrmmm... I'm going to need to reword that somehow.

Hai gaiz ;3 Just to let you all know, a bit of a crisis arose a few days ago. And when I say a bit of a crisis, I mean a Large Crisis. To quote Edmund Blackadder:

"In fact, if you've got a moment, it's a twelve-storey crisis, with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, twenty-four-hour porterage and an enormous sign on the roof saying: 'This Is A Large Crisis'."

xD Anyway, I'll get to the point now. Our artist for the comic Domino Disaster, Naito Yuki, has sadly decided that she needs to cut back on all her artistic commitments and has resigned from the studio. Which unfortunately sets us back a long way in terms of getting part 1, or any part for that matter, finished. Emi and I have decided that we need to advertise for a new artist to carry on the comic, who will hopefully have a similar style and be able to pick up where she left off without too much disruption. Fingers crossed! x ( >.< ) x

In the meantime, because it'll no doubt take a while to find a good replacement who will see the comic through to the end, I'd like us to focus on getting some of these one-shot short comics done so that we at least have something produced under the name of Catalytic Productions. We've got a writer who's already working on it, I know, but what about artists? Vanessa, do you have access to a scanner at the moment? And is there anyone else who wants to write, draw or just submit an idea for one who hasn't said so already? Speak now, or forever hold your pieces.

Oh, but don't think that we're stopping all work on Domino Disaster, because we're definitely not! Scai, please do continue toning those pages =D I'd like to get the pages that are already drawn all done and dusted so that they're not hanging over our heads (they're blocking out the sun, you see) - that means toned and lettered and everything. Then we can effectively start afresh on the next bit of the comic with the new artist. Providing we can find one.

Also, with regards to our other project in sort-of-progress, 'Trapped Inside a Novel', I'm doing well on transcribing the roleplay and achieving my goal of scripting the whole thing by the end of the month! I'm currently on panel 124. I'll be putting the script up, in instalments for easier reading, in the Editing Thread very soon to get comments and critiques from you all.
