That reminds me, I've been meaning to outright post it on my blog. Check my blog. By the time you read this, Chapter One should be up there.

I felt compelled to post just to say that for once, I'm not behind on my wordcount. 11813. Just where I'm supposed to be for 7 days. biggrin

hola :3 how've you guys been?
had homecoming this weekend =D *hyper from dancing*

Edit: almost done with my test!! wooohoo!! 8D

Ah... It's sunday. It's really nice out, but I have to be stuck inside doing homework. sad

(And I'm stuck in NaNo (*A*) )

Other than that, I've been good. smile

=D Woo, just finished reading your story, Emi! I'm really hooked! I look forward to the next part - so make sure you write it, and quickly xD

I'm glad you like it. I think I've to stop NaNo'ing though because I need to start paying attention to class... >.>

o__o C-can't you do both? crying

Alas, as amazing as I am, this is not something I can do. My grades have kinda slipped so I really need to push it to bring them back up to acceptable. >.>

College sucks balls. :/

(Oh, and I'll upload Chapter 2 tomorrow. That's all I've written so far. I'll still be writing the story... just painstakingly slowly.)

I'm back!

The NaNo contest would be better off for the summer or January when I assume lots of college/school kids have time off.

Nice website additions.

Well, it's only in November because, historically, that's when Chris Baty decided to undertake the enormous task of writing a novel, and decided to do it in one month. xD You're right that November is a sucky month, but that's the challenge of it! If we were all free all the time, 50k would be a cinch. (My relative lack of commitments is the only reason that I'm doing so well currently). And I've heard that there is such a thing as SuWriMo, or Summer Writing Month(s). The Script Frenzy contest, the script-writing equivalent of NaNoWriMo, also takes place in January.

Totally.

(I just felt like I had to say something because I haven't in a while.)

Actually, last night I read an account of the first time he did do NaNoWriMo, and it was actually in July. o.O So... why did they switch to November? I'm just as in the dark as you guys now.

Edit: Aaah, the answer is here on the next page of the book: "And what happened to NaNoWriMo after that first year? In 2000, I moved National Novel Writing Month from July to November to more fully take advantage of the miserable weather."

Yeaah, that makes sense. x3 I suppose in November people are more inclined to stay indoors and write, whereas in July they'd probably forgo it in favour of doing something outdoors. You can always take a laptop outside, though.

Man, now I really want to do that. ._. I miss summer weather.

Questing yellow inks. Donate plz? :3 You know you don't want them...
(Also collecting Yellow Butterflies since they => yellow ink x3)

From NaNoWriMo to NaNoFiMo: will I make it??
(Answer: probably not x3)

Did you notice how they changed post reply to reply? The horror!

How do you like my one-shot script? Is it worth making more of these?

Panel 1

A shot of the clouds

"You know, I've always hated being at the bottom of the totem pole."

Panel 2

A shot of a busy street intersection.

"I always have these folks sitting on top of me."

Panel 3

A long shot of a man shaking his monitor violently.

"No one ever listens to me"

Panel 4

A closeup of the bottom of a totem pole.

"What are you looking at?" with this kind of look stare

P.S. This is an American idiom, so enchanted might not get it. Being at the bottom of the totem pole means being unimportant.

...I'm an american and I didn't get the idiom (*A*)

I kind of liked where it was leading, but I think the punch line needs more of a PUNCH rather than just a punch.

And also, I kind of like this new reply system cause quick rely is a tad easier, though I don't get the emoticon list... sweatdrop

Emi is in lurking mode once again and it really doesn't help her shops. Sorry
