xd It's all right, scanner-less 'Ness. It's not your fault.
I was actually disappointed recently when I looked for Hiei/Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho) communities on LJ and found about two, one dead and one practically-dead. I was sure there'd be loads considering that YYH is so popular, and Hiei/Kurama seems like the most obvious shounen-ai pairing. It's not canon, but since when did that stop fangirls? It seems odder when you consider that a relatively obscure manga like Katekyo Hitman Reborn! has a thriving community for the pairing Yamamoto/Gokudera (also non-canon) where at least one, often more than one, new fanfic or fanart is posted every day. Anyway, that's why I like to read fanfic on more than one site. I actually started off reading fanfics on Quizilla, but those were all absolutely terrible. I just didn't realise it at the time x3 Oh, and LJ is great for original fiction as well. I'm going to put my novel up on there once I actually start writing it. Have you heard of the story 'Captured Prince' by freece, Emi? I think you'd like it. Also, to help you get started on your Extreme Storyboarding Spree (which I know you were planning to go on), here is a handy link to the relevant page of the Editing Thread. You want the tenth post down, starting with the bit where the panel numbers go back to 1. Although it seems to me like there ought to be an extra bit in between that and the preceding panel, some sort of break... |
