Better?

You missed out the fuuull stooooop~ *flails* But it's okay, I can put it in.

Edit: Done that, and adjusted the panel alignment slightly (the top one overhung the one below slightly on the right) but it won't frickin' let me upload the picture to Photobucket. Keeps having an error only it doesn't tell me what. *fume* I'll email it to you instead, Emi, and can you post it here or in the inking/toning thread?

I guess I'll post this in the guild too. 3nodding

Tha-anks! Is more inking on the way? :3

Haha.... totally..... sweatdrop

I think I have to work on a templating commission for someone first and then I can work on the ext page sweatdrop

Pfff, I dunno. >.> I think you'd fail the quiz on the first page, I really do.

There's a quiz on the first page?

x3 You didn't notice it? It is my desperate attempt to constructively channel some of my immense frustration at the fact that almost every single applicant falls at the first hurdle. I mean, what the hell is their problem if they think they can be a member of a studio (especially when it's even closed to applications) yet they fail to complete a simple test in two weeks? And then there are all the ones who got in and never did anything, of whom there are also quite a few, I'm sure you've noticed. So I narrowed it down to a few things that I think are the key reasons: in short, lack of exploring other options (meaning that after joining the studio, people suddenly realised they'd rather do a collab project instead - which is what happened with Nirvannah and Lady Chaotic Kitty, to name at least two); lack of priorities; lack of commitment and lack of initiative. Mainly the first one and the last two, but it's also important that people don't constantly prioritise their own pet projects above the studio or else they'll never get around to contributing. And then I put those into a quiz and tried not to make it sound too acerbic. What do you think?

I am a little confused on page 7 (the blow dryer part). http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o182/InuKik/ddp7wip.jpg Is he just magically holding it or does he get it from his clothing?

I never noticed the quiz either. But all my comics are dead anyway, all my comic drawing time is spent on CP. Closest thing I do to a comic that is not related to CP is one-page comics to practice paneling, the stories in them sometimes make no sense or are vague.

The quiz has reasonable points to it.

Oooh, nice job with page 6! I love the radically different expressions on Dominic and Eric's faces. xD Dominic: mad Eric: mrgreen

With the hairdryer, I think that he just magically produces it, like they do on cartoons. Then it's like, 'Wtf? Where did that hairdryer come from?' xD

So you don't do your Sonic comic any more? I have a feeling that's probably old news I should know about but I can't remember. x3 MOAR TIME FOR CATALYTIC YAY xD The one-page comics sound interesting too.

Ah, I see.

I don't do much Sonic stuff anymore, I was always a target for having it butchered (stolen, recoloured, edited, etc). I still doodle Sonic stuff from time to time though. I have always had a very limited interest range, if I start liking something, an old interest gets pushed away. In this case, my interest in Megaman pushed out my interest in anything Sonic for the time being.

But yeah, my Sonic fan-comic died.

Hey Emi I was wondering what font size/proportion thing you use for your font (go to window > character) I was using 6 pt. (some anime ace downloaded font) at 50%.

I have been trying to mimic what you did in your nicely done tutorial emo

Oh, yeah. I should probably send you higher res pictures. My picture was like 3000px wide so 18pt worked pretty well for that, lol.

If you're reading this:
'Chanted: Work on the VN. Please?
Mr. E: Keep up the good work smile
Keli + Krotar: Check the staff office.

Emi is in lurking mode once again and it really doesn't help her shops. Sorry

@Naito: Aw, that's a shame. But I'm the same with interests: whenever I start a new phase it eclipses whatever I thought was awesome before that. I sometimes go through two or three phases at the same time, but normally it's only one. At the moment I'm in a Yu Yu Hakusho phase, watching all the anime, although I also mean to get back into Harry Potter so that I feel motivated to update my fanfic x3

Questing yellow inks. Donate plz? :3 You know you don't want them...
(Also collecting Yellow Butterflies since they => yellow ink x3)

From NaNoWriMo to NaNoFiMo: will I make it??
(Answer: probably not x3)
^ Enchanted should watch Yu Yu Hakusho the Abridged Series (the AS were started by the English after all) by Lanipator whee

Emi: I was very confused! For example, in the tutorial you had the 10 px outline for the bubble, it was too huge for me, so I reduced it to 2 and then it looked like yours.

I was confused on your shape tool section (where you made the yelling bubble). How do you make the shape "fill pixels"?

I also can't figure out how to decrease the spacing between my text gonk
I also don't know how to place the text behind Eric's head in the title page (unless you count erasing the letters of the title that would normally go in front of his head! sad
