Let me make this simple. I am looking for someone who would be interested in creating a work of greatness with me. I have a full time job but I do have plenty of time to write on my days off. I'm willing to also work through email, or other forms of communication. Preferably not Gaia, but if I must. Whatever would work best for you future partner. I am looking for someone around my age, which would be college aged and up. Nothing against younger writers, but someone around my age is more apt to be on the same page as me. Older is also fine, as long as I don't feel like you are trying to creep me.

I am advanced literate; the terms are different these days so I have mostly given up on classifying myself. I would like to write fiction. And usually all my works fall into a fantasy/science fiction category. Things of magic and from other worlds interest me.

You can call me Bells or Mina for the moment. I do hope that we will have a great adventure together. For more information then just ask.

I am dead serious with this. If you agree and I accept you then we start right then. Too many good things have fallen through and I am determined to write something that is great. If working hard and coming up with a spectacular story are not in your agenda then you need not reply. Let me repeat myself. I. Am. Serious.

Don't be intimidated. Apply. Seriously.

*Like I said I have a full time job so it may be almost a day before I reply depending on what time posts are made. I don't usually get online in the mornings since I go to work so early.

It is a dangerous thing to love someone. Love was what had gotten her into this whole mess, but it was also love that kept her going. It was because of love that she was now faced with a precarious decision of life and death. Either she denounced her companions and perhaps she would escape with her life, or she could hold her silence and most certainly be killed. Neither of the offered decisions was favorable for her but there was only one thing to be done. It was an easy decision made in a second as she gathered her courage.

“I refuse.”

It seemed like a simple sentence but it was the lone thing that absolutely sealed her fate. As the answering jeers and bellows resounded in the air, her courage faltered. Surrounded by bandits who were full of malice and evil intents she swallowed hard and reached into the last reservoir of her strength. Knowing that she was about to die, her eyes calmly shut. The image of the men coming towards her with the intent to kill was blocked out as panic faded into darkness.

That was the last thing that she knew.

That is the preface to the book I am working on. Do not add on to it, copy it, or anything of the sort. Don't add on to it as your sample. I will hurt you.
If I choose you we will not be working on this. We will come up with something great to write about.

Sample:you mean a sample of my writing? well if that's the case here: “Sally.” A voice whispers to her ears, and Sally grew more scared. “I’m alone, I’m alone.” She said softly back to the voice, hoping it’ll go away. But the voice continued to breathe, louder and louder into her ears. “But I can’t leave Sally, no matter what you try to do. I can read you mind, I can steal your soul.” Sally shook her head. “I know you won’t take my soul. Or else you wouldn’t be here. My story is told and sealed with a ribbon. Anyone who visits me by this hollow tree either wants to die with me or take my burdens. I am protected by the ribbon seal.” Inside, her mind raced. She remembers also that someone would come for her, and it’ll be her sister. “I can’t return home again. I hope you’ll forgive me.” Sally told the voice, and the voice slithered away. Sally knew that the voice was just temptation of leaving the forest, something she can’t even do. “I can feel the night attacking.” Sally was speaking out of her mind. She concentrates her sight of the pond in front of her. It looked deep enough to cover her body, and so desperately does she want to jump in and drown. Sally started tearing up, remembering once again her sister was dead. Her twin sister...Andrea…is dead.
Andrea wasn’t killed though, as people had said. Andrea drowned, in the pool right in front of Sally now. She had tried to reach her sister from the other side, but failed. Sally was hoping Andrea would be the one who dies next to her here, but instead she drowned in the pond.
The pond was also deadly. And dark. Its sprit is moving silently. It has its own life, its own powers. At least, Sally should know this. Her story told her, her story could speak to her….Sally suddenly started to breathe hard. Now she realized why her sister had to die. The pond should know why at least…her sister must’ve said something that affects the flow of this story. “Be careful what you say, especially to mom.” Was Sally’s warning…and now Andrea must’ve broke it.

Other: here's the thing: i am much younger....if you dont think you want to work with me because i am younger its fine. but i so far am working with another person with collaborating writing and i've entered many writing contests and hosted many on gaia. i am very interested in collaborating with someone. i have time, i am a homeschooled person. as for the age, that's up to you..

Sorry, going on your sample it doesn't seem that you are up to my level of literacy.
Thank you for applying. I hope you continue to grow and improve as a writer.

Literally seven or so white moons filled the void that was the night sky. They shone with unearthly magnificence - too big, almost eerie - they peered down like giant eyes lacking irises. It was as if someone had poured entire canisters of milky paint on an infinite canvas.

I laid on my back with my hand in his and watched the purples and blues of the night sky as it swirled with the gray strands of mist that were dark clouds. I closed my eyes and the scene didn’t disappear, but spurted small golden star bursts and when I opened them - my eyes - the stars were still there.
This was truly the place of my dreams but for a moment I almost allowed my heart to yearn for the one part of my sleepy world who was missing. But after a moment I felt the warmth and toughness of the hand in mine and felt secure and safe and in the true meaning of Home. Sure, when I closed my eyes back at home, on my poorly stuffed pillow it was her hand I was holding and the imagining of that was noticeably different then this reality; but I couldn’t say that this wasn’t nice as well. She didn’t want to be a part of this world of mine and I could keep telling that detail to myself or, I could just relax and soak up this moment.
And that is what I did.

(I have more, but this scene is what I am currently working on.)

Ashley, I like your stuff.
I feel like our styles are very different but I'd like to give a little sample a go with you to see if we would be able to be cohesive together.
I'm a little fearful that we write too differently. But I wouldn't know for sure without testing it.
Celibalra

Well color me flattered.
I would be more then happy to play around writing with you - to find out if we go well together. I know I can be voicy and a bit obscure but I've found that collaborating tends to mellow my writing a bit,
so who knows?

I have finally found what I was looking for. I have spent twenty years of my miserable life searching relentlessly and I now hold in my hands the only thing in the world that might change everything.
It all started as far as my memory can go. I was in the back of mother’s cottage and I was only four years old. Those were the happy days when I could play outside all day and then tell Mother all about my so-called adventures, like the ones about the tea parties I would have with the squirrels or how I would try to race the wind but the wind would always win. This particular day was different. There were no birds singing and the squirrels were hiding. The sky was dark and gloomy and although I have always loved the dark, I felt oddly unnerved. It had begun to pour. I didn’t run home like any sane person would. No, I loved the rain. I walked slowly instead, taking in the feeling of the cool, heavy raindrops on my skin.
By the time I got in the little house I was completely drenched. “Mother, it’s raining!” I called, smiling. I walked a few steps toward the kitchen before noticing I was tracking dirt and water all over Mother’s clean floor. My shoes and socks were soaked all the way through, so I removed them. The floor felt cold and slippery. Mother’s not gonna like this mess I made…I thought to myself. “Mother, come see the rain!” I was so excited I didn't notice it at first.
But Mother never replied.

Other: I'm a college student who loves writing for fun. I haven't actually written much in a while though, but I really miss it and that's why I'm here. I'd love help you write something great, if you're still looking for a partner, that is.

Name you would like to be called: Amanda.
Genre of interest in writing: Just about anything except hardcore historical and mystery--though I can and do write both of those as well. My favorite would probably have to be fantasy (with the exception of high fantasy).
Prefered way of communication: E-mail or Gaia.
Sample: Here.
Other: I was an English major, though I'm no longer in college. I'm working on my own novel right now as well as editing someone else's work for him, so I'm not sure how regularly you'd want contact or if I'll be able to live up to your expectations--but I'm willing to give it a shot if you are. Also, if my writing style isn't quite what you're looking for, I'm a fairly decent editor if you need one.
