fairytale based on a current social issue in society.
Once upon a time, a powerful King and Queen of a vast land were very distraught because they were unable to conceive a child. However, after many years, the Queen finally became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, named Grace. Unfortunately, soon after the Queen gave birth to the young princess, she fell ill and died. Unable to care for his daughter on his own, the King gave the little girl to his servants so that they could raise her into a beautiful young woman.
Despite the kings efforts, a neighboring band of theives learned of the news and developed the perfect plan to get rich quick. Their leader was a strong muscular man with blonde hair and a talent for using a bow. Late at night, meetings took place, concerning the kidnapping of the small child. In exchange for the princess, the thieves would place a price on her head, so large, the king would have to make allies with his enemies and request donations.
The abhorrent theives danced a jig around the open fire, as one of their cohorts played the guitar. They had captured gypysies and had them tied to a tree for almost a week. Among them, was a small boy who had recently revealed his talent to throwing knives. The day before yesterday, he got a hold of one of the bandits knives and almost took their leader's head clean off, had he not dodged in time.
They conspired together and decided the little boy had a good reason to join their band. "If you join us, we will let the rest of the gypsies go." Precariously, he agreed. Despite his efforts to escape as well however, got himself whipped. The long slender rope lashed at his back twice. Ripping the delicate flesh. He no longer questioned their power and resolved to doing their bidding.
