Heather let out a small gasp as she felt Lily tug her in, but quickly takes a deep breath before taking the plunge. The water is not quite as big a shock to her as she had imagined it would be. It was already quite pleasant. She opens her eyes, and looks at Lily, underwater next to her. She felt a deep connection at that moment, unlike anything else. And yet she hardly knew this girl.

A moment later she broke the surface and gasped in a new breath, pulling Lily up with her. She looked back at Lily and started to softly giggle, then laugh.
With her head barely bobbing above the surface of the moonlit pool, her legs and arms keeping her afloat, Lily found herself looking at Heather again. The connection between them was undeniable, when hours before it seemed they had nothing in common except dislike for each other.

Heather was giggling, then laughing. Her laughing made her lose concentration on floating and she was bobbing in the water. Lily was amazed at the girl's body, how her smile spread on her face, how her eyes closed and her head tipped back as she laughed. The skin of her neck was smooth and inviting.

She smiled, bit her lip unconsciously - she felt heat build in her body, warming her against the chill in the water. She shouldn't feel like this, she thought. Anyway, there was one more place she wanted to show Heather.

Lily reached for Heather's arm and pulled their bodies closer. Heather stopped laughing. For a breath their bodies were nearly touching. Lily searched Heather's eyes for fear, for feeling, for anything...

"Follow me." She leaned forward and whispered the words in Heather's ear.

Then she dove into the pool.
Heather could feel her face burn red and her heart jump to her throat as Lily leaned in to whisper in her ear. She watched, a bit stunned at Lily gracefully dove underwater.

Hesitant for just a moment, Heather yanked of her soaking shirt and pulled down her shorts. Underneath was a very small, tight, bright pink bikini. She threw the clothes at the bank, hopping they would land on the shore, took a deep breath and dove after Lily.

She opened her eyes underwater and as she swam deeper in, trying to keep up with Lily, she could feel the water cooling her face, and her heart beat slowly returned to normal. It was just then she noticed that her and Lily where no longer holding hands, and she suddenly ached for the warm touch of Lily's grasp. She kicked her feet harder and more determined, now quickly closing the gap on Lily.
Lily's heartbeat raced as she heard Heather finally dive down and follow her. What had taken Heather so long? She feared, for a moment, that Heather had decided to turn back, to go back to the campfire, back into the forest....away from her. Lily didn't know what drew her to this girl, but she knew it was too late for her to turn away from it.

Heather had gained a lot on Lily and was now swimming just a few feet behind her. Lily led her through an underwater cave, where the water pushed them through to the other side, bubbles from the rush flowing around them in swirls and patterns. At the end of the cave Lily swam straight up, pushing with her feet on the rock face to hasten her emergence from the water. She gasped for breath as her head splashed above the water, and quickly she swam to the shore.

As she began to climb out, Heather emerged from the water. Lily's heart beat heavily against her chest and she felt a blush coming to her cheeks as she saw her, Heather's clothes were gone, leaving only a skimpy bikini. Heather's body was beautiful; her curves were highlighted by the slowly brightening sky, pale and earthly and...beautiful. Lily didn't know how else to describe it.

Without noticing, she was staring at Heather.
